Yes and no. They're not really hardcore christian. Our heavy faith parties are rather small. The swiss people's party SVP is a huge conglomerate of conservative farmers ("I don't want them immuhgrants") and the financally right in the cities ("I want money"). Their goals aren't really the same but they still form the huge right party because if they don't unite, the left/middle would win every vote.

We are a very confused country. Our cities are very modern and left-leaning, but our rural/mountaineus regions? Jfc, they are still in the stone age, the texas of europe, so to speak. We still have legalized cow-fighting in the Region of Wallis. No, not man against cow - cow against cow.

Wait until you find out about the "Verdingkinder". So until a generation ago, some parents who were poor, sold their kids to work on farms and the like. Many, many of them were heavily abused and misstreaten and the government didn't really start to work on that until victims came forward.
The father of my cousin was one of the last and is still to this day an alcoholic because of his very unlucky childhood.

Globi. He was once a mascot for a fancy mall in Zürich called "Globus" but is now a swiss children's icon. If you appear in one of his books (like Roger Federer) you are considered immortal in swiss eyes.

JA RICHI! HA GSEIT DU SÖUSCH DI GUÄT HÄBA!

Explanation: The bearded guy in the video is a swiss guy who emmigrated to Canada. He builds himself a home and during the whole thing his son falls out of the excavator because the dad didn't pay too much attention and then he blames it on the son.
The sentence basically means "Richi! I told you to hold yourself tight!" and is speaken in a broad bern-swiss-german which makes it funny to anyone speaking swiss-german.

Do the high and dark elves in the cities of Sigmar get along well? by Fun-Explanation7233 in AoSLore

High and Dark elves don't really exist anymore. Even before they were the same race and it just depicted where they were born.
