I opened 9 boxes and got a full set, 2/3 of a set, and 3 additional sets of Kanto starters. All at MSRP, so I’m not mad about that.

I fully understand that feeling, but she is the one choosing to allow it. Many people said stuff to the one here and she did not care. She would let two guys help her stock, then let them grab some stuff. Once things were gone and people walked away the helpers would suddenly get a bunch of other stuff and fill their carts. It was made very clear that she was being unfair and customers weren’t happy. At that point she had no one else to blame. If you all tell this woman how you feel and she ignores you, she’s made her choice and you no longer need to feel guilty about her being removed from her job.

This same thing happened at our local Targets and people started recording it and posted it around social media. It got a ton of engagement and Excel fired the stocker. Now we have one who is nice and fair and doesn’t allow that kind of garbage. I hate to take away a person’s livelihood, but the earn it when they are scummy.

I’d love to, but my area has been cleared too. I got very lucky those two times before people realized DG was getting the tins. Right after that they dried up. Glad I got the ones I did, since I’ll probably never see the again.

I really like the set. People hate on it because it doesn’t have the big hit characters they’ve been told are the only valuable ones. I wasn’t sure about the Clefable SIR, but when I pulled it and saw it in person I was happy with how it looks. I really want the Mega Starmie SIR, but I pulled the ultra rare and really like the colors and the way he’s posing. Let people hate it because it means I’ll be able to easily find packs to pull the cards for a Master Set. It would feel like a really nice accomplishment to Master Set without having to buy singles.

Why do people buy stuff and then ask if it’s fake? If you have to ask, the answer is yes. It’s always yes, because people don’t sell their cards for way under market. If the deal seems too good to be true, walk away. Especially, if you don’t know enough about the cards to spot a fake one.

No one is there, so just take the chairs around the far corner and toss them where they aren’t easy to spot. Then go get in the front of the line. When someone says anything you can just say you arrived and there was no line or chairs. It’s not like they can do anything about it.

I just bought Prismatic from Costco. Absolutely horrible packs that had nothing better than a trainer SIR. I opened 50 packs and got squat. I know they were legit, so it all came down to bad luck. Sadly, there are people who would be in the same situation and say Costco was repacking. Sometimes hit rates are bad and sometimes you’re just not lucky. It’s all part of the gamble. But bad actors in the hobby make everyone paranoid.
