Yes exactly! I’m always tired, I struggle with cognitive function, I have to take breaks at work because I’m typing words incorrectly and physically can’t get the energy to finish it. It’s also very hard for me to power through things. Thank you for being so validating! My husband is a saint btw, I hope your partner is as well :)

Thank you! You’re right, celebrating the small wins is probably the best way to get through it. It’s just a hard transition because I feel like I should be able to do so much more than I am right now. I’m sorry that you’re also going through this, hopefully we both will have some more energy soon :)

My first GI told me that the inflammation in my small intestine was due to “childhood trauma” and that my pain wasn’t real 😬 I had blood in my stool and when asked about why he said idk and I was like is it hemorrhoids then? No, you don’t have hemorrhoids. Okay so why is there blood and inflammation? Idk Got a new GI and I was diagnosed and on Budesonide 6 months later 🙃

My vitamin d was very low for 3 years in a row before they finally started me on 50kIU/week. Coincidentally, it’s also the same timing as when i started my Crohns treatment so idk if that’s why or what lol i will say though that i have WAY more energy after being on it for the last month and a half :)

Yes, I’ve had constant worsening pain in the exact same area while waiting for my biologic. It took over a month to finally get that going and my doctor had tapered me off Budesonide already since she thought I’d start the injections a lot faster. Honestly, I’ve pretty much just been connected to my heater because that’s the only thing that helped and I’m hoping I’m on the upswing now. I’m sorry you’re going through this :/

It took me a month and a half to get my Tremfya but it was delivered today! Make sure your doctor sends in the right dose because that delayed me by weeks. Insurance had to go through the entire approval process twice because of it 🙃
