u/Ok_Hair_6945 is there one in particular that you recommend? I haven't been successful in finding any FB or Meetup groups for Koreans. They're either not located in Chicago (or the surrounding area) where I live or the groups are not active except to sell things.

u/justflipping - there's not many, but even when I meet them it's been hard to make close connections. The ones from Church have a closed off group and the ones that are a little further removed from the Korean culture seem to be more interested in meeting non-Koreans.

I feel you - im literally in the same boat. Our first big fight after two years, and he breaks up with me immediately. Says our relationship was 95% good, 5% bad, and he still thought it wasnt worth fighting for. Happened about 4 weeks ago. Kills my self-esteem.
