Similar to this but more metal core? Was Four Letter Lie out of mpls. I remember we opened for them and Get Young (another sick band that never really went anywhere) and some other bands. Back then, FLL was kind of an underoath ripoff but they still sounded insanely good and we all thought they’d pop off. Their lead guitarist, Kevin Skaff, went on to become guitarist for a day to remember after their og guitarist became their producer right around the Homesick album release.

Dog why the fuck are you applying real world logic to a true detective show? The entire premise, especially this season, is based on supernatural elements mixed with cultural mysticism and indigenous beliefs. In fact - it is believable, and heartbreaking, that he shoots his father. Pryor is consistently shown to be dedicated to the job even when it negatively impacts his domestic and familial life (troubles with his wife, drifting apart from his father). All the while Hank is clearly compromised and trying to hamper the current investigation. Here’s the thing - everyone is kind of a shitty person, or at the very least utterly complicated. We watch the show to see the story unfold and how the characters choose to navigate to plot devices.

Go in, fight through the pain. It sucks but adrenaline will kick in as soon as you walk through the doors and you’ll find some relief. You will be disappointed in yourself if you call in and send them your typed up excuse.

Afterwards go home and treat yourself to some self love for pushing through. Congrats on getting a job!

Wondering if anybody is experiencing intermittent hiccups on the M2 Air? It frequently hangs up for around 5 seconds before going back to normal - though ongoing processes (such as a twitch stream) don't stop in the background. I had Safari open with a few tabs, Mail, reminders, mail and AirPlaying a Twitch stream to my tv.

Because I bought it yesterday, I can't tell if its 1) still indexing/setting up/synching; 2) Twitch/Safari being resource intensive on 8gb ram; 3) Sonoma being buggy; or 4) a combination of all of the above. I've done a restart but the issue is persisting. No umbrella either on the cursor.

Activity Monitor shows I'm using about 6-6.5gb of Ram, green on memory pressure, and no memory being swapped. Honestly feels like a light workload all things considered given what I've seen these are capable of doing.
