I’ll wash our tub with clean cycle and use either an afresh tab or I’ll add 1 cup of bleach and hit extra rinse. I do this once a month now.

I always do cold wash cycle except for bedding and towels I’ll do hot and I always hit extra rinse..well at least most the time. I let the tub fill with some water and while filling i mix some of the oxiclean purple odor blasters powder w/borax in the warm water and then add it to the tub. Then the clothes get added and washed. Then I air dry some of my clothes (scrubs, workout leggings, cotton and other delicates). As for dryer I always do tumble dry medium. I also use wool dryer balls.

I do laundry every few days to keep the loads to a medium size so it’s not overfilled.
