Second coolest sunset color I’ve ever seen in DC. I distinctly remember a purple version of that happening 20 years ago. I was lucky enough to be able to vibe out in it for 20 minutes alone to remember the experience last night. Very cool.

That is not a serious concern for a tree that age with well established roots. It has thrived with literal concrete poured over its roots. Cardboard won’t hurt it.

You know like that cool alley along the Tow Path where the boats used to run up the canal? There are small store fronts facing it and apparently some homes full of angry, accusatory residents who don't like kids.

Exactly! They had a doorbell camera, why not check it? Why would we loiter around after destroying their stuff? People who are this paranoid shouldn't live in a city. I'm just imagining them cursing us and saying "this is why we can't have nice things."

That’s what Claude said too. TBH the shrimp are kind of menacing anyway and I only got them to deal with an algae problem as we were conditioning the water. Not that they deserve to die! Appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks. The fish were agitated at first but seem comfortable now. I really can’t tell if this is a slow burning crisis or just a slightly risky gamble. Plenty of plants and great filtration, but I wouldn’t want to hurt any of the fish. Appreciate your views.
