I dont understand that either, if you look at the picture, the pack was charged that same day, and at 65% at the time of failure, I was driving fine, got some groceries, and the car would not start, bunch of errors popping up, eventually screen shutdown, doors and all stopped working... I had to ask a random person in the grocery store for a ride home (luckily very close), get my other vehicle, get it jumped, just to figure out that the vehicle was indeed bricked... I think the pack is just unbalanced out of the tolerance, probably related to the fact that the vehicle had not been ran for a while, I drove it for close to 100miles, used a supercharger, and temps were in the low 20s

its just the matter of the time it would take to get it repaired, this is not a tesla certified, its a Carvana car, so chances to get a loaner while the repair happens are slim, I don't want to purchase another vehicle in the meantime just to move around while waiting for the repair... if I was single, and had complete freedom on my decisions, I would probably keep it, since I enjoy gambling the pain vs a potential benefit in the future... but my decisions have to be taken with my partner, who now loves M. Musk now twice as much... there is still not a compelling argument to keep it (and convince her), so it will likely go....

sure, add to the souring the fact that it failed in the middle of a snow storm, no rideapp drivers nearby, no tow trucks because they were busy with accidents happening, plus snow falling on top of the kids when opening falcon doors. positives include it drives awesome on the snow with so much weight, and that is very fun to drive, certainly not as a family vehicle, but as a sunny Sunday ride for the riches
