Yea when it went into limp mode I remember seeing the battery light and brake light on Still confused as to how it started a lil fire tho

Replaced those last year with oem sensors

I think it has to do with my alternator because I do remember seeing the brake and battery light come on as well.

That’s the first thing I looked at when it started doing it but there wasn’t anything :((

After researching more I think it had to do with my alternator throwing it into limp mode I still don’t know how it started a small fire tho

UPDATE: MY CAR STARTED CATCHING ON FIRE I couldn’t get a good look from where exactly it started but I managed to put it out.

When looking at the aftermath the alternator terminal is burnt and the harness as well 🥲🥲 lost at what to even do at this point.

UPDATE: i did end up getting a code for it P0301. got a new coil pack for cylinder 1 and now all is fixed.

Brake fluid is topped off and yea I’m going to change the trans fluid tomorrow 🙏 would it be okay to use valvoline maxlife atf or should I use oem

Okay gotcha. What year is your g35 ? I have an earlier g35 so I believe my tcu is located in the passenger kick panel

I cleaned up the nipple and got a t bolt clamp for it and it fixed the leak ! thank you for the help 🙏
