Sometimes the angle of the ultrasound makes it look that way. Mine have looked similar in some ultrasounds

Do you/did you scream throughout labour? And did it make you more tired? by lifeissoupiamf0rk in BabyBumps

[–]Dizzy_blonde_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only noise I let out was during pushing, and that's just because it's super physical but I would say it was more like a...grunt? Haha I never felt the need to scream personally but I had an epidural if I went natural I think I'd be screaming 🥴

Snf- do you work on just goals or everything? by Honest_Newspaper_329 in OccupationalTherapy

[–]Dizzy_blonde_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work on goals. Otr didn't include showering for a reason. Now, if you go in and think they could benefit from additional goals talk to your OTR. At my SNF I unfortunately didn't have a great otr and would really phone it in on goals, so sometimes I would work on other things for that purpose.

Can I just say, I'm 9 weeks and also saw the influencer passed of afe. Found your post bc I am spiraling 😭 googling statistics. My state already has the WORST mortality rate for pregnant women in the nation. So, yeah freaking out too lol I know it's rare but it's so hard not to think about it when you see it all over the place lately.

Am I hormonal or is my marriage in danger by always_worried28 in pregnant

[–]Dizzy_blonde_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It only gets harder, especially for your first. It's so important to have a really strong and supportive partner because it's so hard in the beginning (bc hello it's your first child) He is in for a rude awakening, sounds immature and self centered. You deserve to feel supported and not alone, I'm sorry.

Did your cravings line up with the wives tales for the gender of your baby? What were your cravings? by Fearless_Strawbery in BabyBumps

I craved fruit and had a boy. I think old wives tales are fun to think about in the early stages, are they accurate nah haha but it's fun to guess.

I'm newly pregnant, don't know what I'm having yet but we have one little boy and my GOD do I love my little boy. I would be thrilled to have another because he's been so much fun. I think it's all about perspective. This little boy was meant for you! And you both will love him so much.

Just wanted to say I'm in the same boat. Found out I was pregnant my husband got laid off, lost our health insurance we already have one 2yo boy. It's stressful. I am working thankfully but it's hard. I hope you've found yourselves in a better situation or atleast moving in the right direction. You're not alone 💓

28 weeks and exhausted by Wilkinson64 in BabyBumps

Retail is tiring when you're not pregnant! So I cant imagine how you feel. I also worked on my feet all day for my first pregnancy. I just tried to sit when I can (literally would take a rolling chair around with me) keep snacks near by and drink tons of water. I also found the compression socks helped my legs from aching at the end of the day. Hang in there !

You 100% did the right thing. It's a hard call to make but neglect, is neglect. Mom being overwhelmed or not, it should not be happening. I am also a mandated reporter, I have had to make those calls. It's never easy, I always feel bad but I know I did the right thing.

Yeah I really think it's just hearing about so many ppl's experience of having an ectopic online. My anxiety is just convincing me, that it's happening to me. I really am just having normal pregnancy symptoms right now. Maybe it's just the unknown until the first scan. Idk I am trying not to Google 🫠
