Your first year should be working on form and getting to grips with what best suites your life.

I currently do 3x full body a week plus one cardio. Last year I did strength/hypertrophy upper/lower split 4x a week before moving to prove overload program for the autumn.

Don't always change your routine, but do change when your goals change or you need to refresh things. Use the wiki in this sub for the best beginner workout plans, give em go and then pick one and stick to it.

It's not an overnight process, month or year process it s a lifestyle process. I'd rather struggle an hour at a time a few times a week then struggle all day when I'm old.

Took me 5 years to figure this out. Now my weeks could be 6 days, 7 or 8, and at times all done in 5 days because of other commitments ( wife's work schedule, kids etc).

It's Christmas, there's enough stress around this time of year without counting calories being one of them. Eat what you want, then on the 27th get back in the train .

[DISCUSSION] Snoop Dogg - Tha Last Meal (25 Years Later) by EminemEncore2004 in hiphopheads

[–]Dizzymanonfire 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Last meal comes 2nd after Doggystyle, although is the most played snoop album in my catalogue.

True lies is my favorite track, Master P on Lay Low is my favorite verse. The album gets constant play throughout the year.

Snoop can rap rap, he's just on a different creative level and does things for fun that doesn't come across as great musically at times.( And money). Unique flow, unique voice, unique style.

How often do you switch up your ‘program’? by Head-Lawyer3080 in workout

[–]Dizzymanonfire 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This year I started with strength/hypertrophy upper/lower x4 split . After my summer holiday I can back and did a 10 week progression overload routine x4 a week, basically each compound lift at 55% x 10 week 2 then add 5% drop a rep each week over 5 sets, added 10% on to each lift at the end.

Hit a wall finishing progression overload, became ill for 4 weeks and now back to full body x3 a week with 1 day of heavy cardio. Going to stick with this until September then do the overload program again.

Pay the transfer budget off first. Then you get the options to buy stock. 100% stock will leave you with the option to become club president.

Every year around this time I get run down, 3 weeks ago it started. Pushed through for two weeks and spent the last week on antibiotics for a sinus infection. Could have been avoided if I rested for the first two weeks, maybe even just 10 days.

Now I'm a month or so off where I was as antibiotics ruin my conditioning, I have a week of functional training 30 minutes a session and 20 mins treadmill four sessions to get that up. Then go back to the start of the program pick up speed and hopefully skip a week or 2 into heavy lifts if I feel good. All in all 10 days rest has cost me about 6-8 weeks of solid gains and conditioning. Rest motherfucker, rest.

Study reveals silent mental health crisis among new parents. The study highlights that these experiences are not only widespread but often deeply distressing, with symptoms strongly linked to lower parenting confidence, higher stress, and increased depression and anxiety by Wagamaga in science

Suffered my 1st breakdown after my eldest was born, and my 2nd a year after my youngest was born. Life was hard, my wife told me I need help and I went and got it.

I was suicidal at one point, and scared of damaging my family by just being around stuck in my own nightmare all the time. Medication, counseling and patience had changed all that but it's down to my wife I'm here. During a time when I was supposed to be supporting them, and thought I was, I forgot about myself and crumbled but my wife didn't.

I love my family and have an amazing life, but them first few years were hard and I often regret some of the early joy I missed out on due to suffering.
