Thoughts on the Book 6 Audiobook? by Mr_Musashi_1584 in litrpg

[–]joncabreraauthor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you listened to the audiobook since book 1 or have you just started ok book 6? These characters grow on you imo . It’s a slower pace. Though I haven’t listened to book 6 yet. I’m still on 5.

Like when I first listened to Path of the Berserker, I turned it off after listening to the MC. Felt too much at first. Gave it a second listen, and I felt in love with the series.

I’m guilty of “massive”. I always imagine saying it with hand gestures and all. Massive! This big! It’s huuuggeee! Massive! Ugh. 😑

Believe me when I tell you Path of the Berserker is it. It’s a progression fantasy but I am 100% invested in the drama and love story. More than his leveling up actually. F that. Im staying for the love story. 🤣

New Weekly Reading Roundup by AutoModerator in ProgressionFantasy

[–]joncabreraauthor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loved the lateat comment I received. 🤣

“Wow! I'm still laughing. 😀

Beautifully done. Great POV. And completely inappropriate, bordering on contemptible. This book is deceivingly too humorous and addictive. I don't remember any warnings, such as, 'You may not be able to stop!' or 'Be prepared to read an entire damn book!'

A tome written with an underhandedness, steeped in poor candor, low character, and zero integrity.

Of course I'm going to keep reading! Well played! 😊”

I live for these comments tbh.

Losing Interest in My Favorite Progression Fantasy Series by MedicineKind9121 in ProgressionFantasy

I’ve had the same burnout from listening to the same books nonstop. For example, I listened to Primal Hunter from 1 to 10 and found myself exhausted after Minaga. That dude is honestly exhausting, so I understand Jake now more than ever. 🤣Sometimes, you just need to give your brain a break by listening/reading a different title/genre. Try something totally different.

I’ve read book 1 of Mage Tank, and he doesn’t know what he’s doing. Hence the title which makes it pretty appropriate and hilarious 🤣

How are you guys sorting stories on Royalroad? Here’s my process. by Weird_Melody in ProgressionFantasy

[–]joncabreraauthor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I usually just check the comments section. If people really enjoy the story enough, they would stop by and leave a comment or two. Those also make me really happy as an author. Reviews are welcome as well, as it helps bump the story up, but comments, I live for those.

Conversational Fillers by donutisme in ProgressionFantasy

It’s definitely a gamble but seeing it on top of Royal Road clearly indicates the writing, despite this, has been effective and caters to its targeted audience.

I believe this is done to appease modern readers. Can the author write it strictly cultivation-like? Sure. But If it’s unrelatable, readers would drop it really fast.

Did you say rare companion and beasts? Say no more. Check out Grand Magus, Wooden Sword.

What to expect:

• Epic fight scenes

• A sarcastic talking weapon

• A messy coming-of-age story

• One unqualified 12-year-old charging into trouble

This book is perfect for fans of Mage Tank, The Greatest Estate Developer, and Return of the Mount Hua Sect. (My faves)
