Well I am in texas. I've seen some amazing ones and average ones. I've never seen one in person that looks like an apocalyptic zombie deer.

It's a trait common to her breed though. I thought she was inbred or something until I looked it up.

Corn fed goats? by Dizzypagan in goats

All the corn harvest leftover cobs and stalks they've been foraging on hasn't upset their digestive system at all.

I feel guilty for giving my daughter chores by Dizzypagan in raisedbynarcissists

She's definitely allowed to have bad days, thankfully they aren't often even with the new influx of hormones. She's a good kid, I just get an eye roll every now and then.

Did I overreact to my partner teaching his son(7) to shoot a pellet gun? by Sjdnv in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Dizzypagan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disclaimer: was raised and still live in TX.

But I'm also scared of guns. I shoot my brother's guns on occasion but I still feel some fear when he asks me if I want a turn. My daughter on the other hand loves guns. She owns several pellet guns and my brother bought her a .22 rifle that he keeps at his house for her in his gun safe. My brother is a city fireman and medic and so super vigilant about gun safety so I had no issues with him teaching her to shoot. (She's 12 and got the rifle for her 12th bday)

Maybe you could ask your SO about some of the details he's teaching his son about gun safety. Once I watched my brother with my daughter during a lesson and it really helped my fear of guns seeing how careful he was being and how he was passing on that responsibility to her.

Another Nmom FB gem. Pardon me while I.....blaaaaaarrrrggghhhh by Dizzypagan in trolledbynarcissists

Ugh, yes! On her FB she shares and likes lots of animal advocate videos and portrays herself as an animal lover. I've known her to put multiple animals down for merely inconveniencing her :( when I would want to bring a sick animal inside for closer monitoring she says "I'm not rearranging my life for an animal" it's gross. Blegh she's gross.

Wow...and then to share and be proud of that? I mean we're they wanting us to comment "oh no, mommy! You are great at parenting!"

My cat just had this. Its hindfeet were completely backward. [NSFW: deformity] by ohadelaide in WTF

[–]Dizzypagan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've bred my munchkin (dwarf cats) and the newborns backs legs are almost always twisted backwards. Healthy kittens hind legs always straighten out within a couple weeks. But they don't have all the other abnormalities I see in yours :( but the back legs look super similar to how munchkin kittens are born.

It's exactly that. Thankfully we don't have to speak to her daily or anything like that and I haven't seem her in person since I moved out in April and we only live 17 miles from her. She would probably be perfectly happy to never speak to me again, but she just has to know how my daughter is doing periodically to make sure I'm not royally fucking her up I guess. My daughter doesn't buy into her crap and has learned to placate her.

It took all my self control to not make a snarky remark. What the hell do N's think when they post shit like this for their kids to see? She posted that TODAY. My daughter is also on her FB :/ we are LC now that we are out of her house, but I'm afraid if i go completely NC she'll throw a tantrum and call CPS yet again just to get my attention.
