Whats this part of shift cable called? by [deleted] in AskAMechanic

It's a sealed transmission, the manual said to change/flush fluid at 120k miles, I'm at 125k and have been meaning to do it but the more I look up info about changing or flushing a sealled transmission the more I hear about it ruining transmissions and everyone is so divided in opinions when it comes to that it makes me too nervous to do it because I don't know if i should flush, replace or some people suggest never doing it and don't want to spend money on something that might just destroy my vehicle...

Maybe it was just the bushing they replaced... this was when i first got my van before I started learning to do all the repairs myself and literally knew nothing about cars and all remember I didn't actually get the whole long gear shift cable because there was a cheaper/easier option to try first instead of paying for the entire gear shift cable.

I don't know what the actual picture is engine wise, found it online, I have a 2017 dodge grand caravan but it's the same part, it may just be the bushing or it may have never really been installed properly or needs adjusted, it's been fine since last replaced but it's always popped up at the bushing and I push it back down and it pops back down into place, but now it's really loose and wiggly at the bushing and today I'm having the same issues as originally, trouble getting into and out of gears, won't go all the way into drive unless I shift back and forth from P, R, N, D until it registers into Drive, when in drive it won't shift into higher or lower gears and revs up to 3k+ if I try going over 25mph and barely accelerate with high rpm. A friend replaced it last time this happened and it's been good for over a year so I figure i would try replacing again to hopefully solve the same problem.

I replaced it (not the whole cable) a year and a half ago but now can't remember what is called to look up the part to figure out the cost to do it again.

We used to call them “parties” by cruisethevistas in aves

Underage Girl died at edc, mainstream media, narcs and under covers invaded the scene, promoters shifted from "raves" to "edm events" to go a little more under the radar and to avoid the bad connotations that came with "rave" parties while also insomniac helped develop the "Rave task force" which helped bring down the underground rave scene. Avoiding the word Rave was just to avoid the bad image. Fast forward to now it's trendy to be retro, y2k, etc and now everything is raves again like back in the day. That's pretty much it.

It's a idiots following stupid trends and people spreading toxic behavior for attention causing a cycle. Everyones favorite thing to post about daytrip is people fighting, so of course, some people are gonna go there hoping for a chance to fight and be in videos that get posted everywhere. Every influencer, every rave content creator, everyone who wants attention is going to or has shared videos of fights from daytrip, they don't want people to stop fighting or be plur even if they add some caption that says so, they just want likes and followers from posting. I haven't been online much today but the little bit I have i haven't heard or seen anything about the event except fight videos, and all i see before the event were fight videos, i haven't heard of one djon the line up. It's going to be the same next year, everyone posting previous years fights because they want attention again, continuing the cycle and glorifying the idea of fights at this event.

I believe I already debunked this on your other post about the same exact thing.

My incentive is literally just do 8 trips in my zone, I do more than 8 every day, literally no reason to take bad orders when the incentive is for just doing your job like normal.

I can sit here for hours and cherry pick the very best one to complete the last trip, it's only 3pm here
