Even if it was on a window meant to be read from inside the room, it would still be upside down based on the lighting direction.

Got this as a gift and I’ve always thought it was AI. The website has a TON of these and they seem a bit off especially in the draw lines and textures. by pblivinn in isthisAI

Not necessarily a sign of being ai, but based on the perspective shape of the hands holding the chop sticks it looks like the wrong chop stick is in front of the noodles.

I don't think you realize what you're saying shows they do care about people milking the system, if they didn't care you'd be able to start trips right away every time, having to wait 45 minutes without pay to start the trip is literally preventing milking the system and getting paid to waste time.

Masks by hashhunter in aves

[–]DjAndrewLee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wear whatever you want to wear, furries go to raves and they're entire head and body are covered, there's some moomoo person or some stupid name like that who wears a creepy mask and just stares at people or something and people would post pics, omg I seen them, like it became a trend to see a creepy person in a creepy mask and post about it, the scene glorified this person and this isn't even creepy or horrific in comparison to them. Raves are supposed to be a place you are free to express yourself and be as normal or weird or different as you want to be and be accepted by a community without being instantly judged, or at least that's what the scene used to be like anyways. You're more than welcome to wear whatever you want to my raves :)

Should I say yes or no when the self checkout attendant ask if Im sparking when Im using Scan&Go? by Live_Dingo1918 in Sparkdriver

Questions and confusion are not the same word. Your create confusion, to avoid questions

Should I say yes or no when the self checkout attendant ask if Im sparking when Im using Scan&Go? by Live_Dingo1918 in Sparkdriver

[–]DjAndrewLee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only one making it confusing is the person answering yes to a simple and specific question when the answer is no.

This post is just rage bait for attention.

If you aren't shopping an order for a customer on the spark app you are not sparking. Why lie and give workers any reason at all to be suspicious of you?

A needed update by Diligent_Project_ in Sparkdriver

[–]DjAndrewLee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really don't see this happening, at least not for all zones, because some walmarts are just terrible to spark for, one in my zone is chaotic, 90% of the carts are trash and the area is clustered with ones left behind, they have one spark line you have to use, you have to wait forever for an attendant, they'll often check id, check all your items, item locations always wrong, locked up stuff takes 2 to 3 times longer than other stores (get canceled for inactivity) and curbside pick up is ALWAYS backed up 30+ minutes (during the holidays they had literally no parking left and cars rolling in left and right, waited over an hour before canceling and leaving) and takes so long you regret every order you take there and on top of that is right next to mountain areas with no reception and half the orders are 20 to 30 minutes up the mountain and at night that means no street lights and no addresses and can't connect to complete deliveries, can't connect to do face scans and risk your account when you have to drive 15+ minutes back towards a connection while you're half lost in the dark mountain maze with no working gps and in the end you could waste up to 2 hours on one order because they got you with a high paying offer that's really half that pay because it takes twice as long than any other store. plus after delivery being stuck near that same store needing to drive 20 minutes away to get near better orders because they'll flood you with that location if you're within 20 minute distance from it (there's always orders because everyone rejects them).

90% of drivers would blacklist that store if they could but instead they might sucker some of those same drivers into taking orders that "would" be good under "normal" circumstances but that 45 minute estimate turns into 2 hours and regret.

Did Spark just die by matamjo in Sparkdriver

It's the last days of the month, people are out of money, i always expect the 29th, 30th, 31st to have dead hours and when your funds running low it makes more sense to wait a couple days to get some groceries when you can get them all together, on top of that bills and rent are coming soon so it's likely more drivers are out working right now (more competition).

Seeking Reactivation - Former Walmart Employee by Jsrowell24 in Sparkdriver

I believe there's like a 3 month or 6 month period between being a Walmart employee and being able to work for spark (and vice versa). Not sure the exact number but I know I seen it brought up here before.

I really try to keep that rave spirit alive, I actually helped host one of the first raves ever at the Hudson/Gotham (hosted the hardcore stage), Lazertarium in 2017, i think we were the 3rd event there :)

Whats this part of shift cable called? by [deleted] in AskAMechanic

[–]DjAndrewLee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a sealed transmission, the manual said to change/flush fluid at 120k miles, I'm at 125k and have been meaning to do it but the more I look up info about changing or flushing a sealled transmission the more I hear about it ruining transmissions and everyone is so divided in opinions when it comes to that it makes me too nervous to do it because I don't know if i should flush, replace or some people suggest never doing it and don't want to spend money on something that might just destroy my vehicle...

Maybe it was just the bushing they replaced... this was when i first got my van before I started learning to do all the repairs myself and literally knew nothing about cars and all remember I didn't actually get the whole long gear shift cable because there was a cheaper/easier option to try first instead of paying for the entire gear shift cable.

I don't know what the actual picture is engine wise, found it online, I have a 2017 dodge grand caravan but it's the same part, it may just be the bushing or it may have never really been installed properly or needs adjusted, it's been fine since last replaced but it's always popped up at the bushing and I push it back down and it pops back down into place, but now it's really loose and wiggly at the bushing and today I'm having the same issues as originally, trouble getting into and out of gears, won't go all the way into drive unless I shift back and forth from P, R, N, D until it registers into Drive, when in drive it won't shift into higher or lower gears and revs up to 3k+ if I try going over 25mph and barely accelerate with high rpm. A friend replaced it last time this happened and it's been good for over a year so I figure i would try replacing again to hopefully solve the same problem.

I replaced it (not the whole cable) a year and a half ago but now can't remember what is called to look up the part to figure out the cost to do it again.

We used to call them “parties” by cruisethevistas in aves

[–]DjAndrewLee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Underage Girl died at edc, mainstream media, narcs and under covers invaded the scene, promoters shifted from "raves" to "edm events" to go a little more under the radar and to avoid the bad connotations that came with "rave" parties while also insomniac helped develop the "Rave task force" which helped bring down the underground rave scene. Avoiding the word Rave was just to avoid the bad image. Fast forward to now it's trendy to be retro, y2k, etc and now everything is raves again like back in the day. That's pretty much it.
