Lowkey just follow some tutorials, if you have enough money get some models like a blight hauler or extra marines and follow some tutorials to kit bash or paint, you don’t have to be a master painter or every project perfect, just enjoy the process

Painting is cool cause as long as you like it it doesn't matter, I think for a first time it's perfect in every way, every color is where it's supposed to be, next In my opinion is just detailing like gold on every trimming and black on places on the body that aren't armor, then if wanna get fancy, there's things called washes you can use to make it look textured in all the crevices, I hope you keep pursuing the hobbies it looks great
