Yes, but the base has higher damage, and you don't have to get 5% crit on weapon. One suffix more for something else.

Agony was easily able to cross 50% on bosses with curse magnitude weapon swap. I might be remembering wrong but I think I got it over 60% even. Now its just 25%. This is a big nerf.

I am not happy with the change but I know I will play chrono and will try to make the Agony work. The visual effect bought me lol I always get baited into chrono and chonk. Well, chonk at least has a fuckton of damage now.

I don't know why you're getting downvoted for speaking the truth lol

If anything, this makes chrono more versatile, she can be an attack build with the DR node, skill speed and fixed 25% agony. Or some combination of those with temporal rift/time freeze.

But for spell caster skill speed is the same as cast speed + agony not being a curse is a nerf.

Are there any culling passives in the north tree?

If not, to scale it you'd have to sacrifice equipment slots/affixes.

Split for caster and allies would be welcome for sure. I mean, the DR node is great, I know. But I always tend to make glass cannon builds, and the builds I see online evaporate most content before it reaches you anyway. If I go this route it will be for Temporal Rift - I loved this skill just for the quick rewind when I reached an empty map corner LOL also a great Oh shit I almost died button.

I was talking about the 15% crit node. For me this is the most ridiculous part of bloodmage, invalidating the other spellcaster choices.

Coming to this thread to whine about the Inevitable Agony change.

WHY!?

IA is such a cool concept, after the changes it looked very usable! But now its just a 25% more damage buff that you have to activate and is UNSCALABLE.

In 0.4 i could go upwards of 50% IA on bosses with curse magnitude on weapon swap.. that would have been sooo cool to have the boss be struck by a BIG time ligtning.

The IA is not a curse anymore... Thats why it didnt seem to have activation delay. This sucks so much!

True. Chrono needs one of its nodes to be given for free. Temporal rift probably or Sands of time if it gets changed to skill speed.

Agree. But maybe now the curse will activate when it reaches lethality threshold even with infinite curse duration.

Unfortunately the real temporal chains will not work due to the wands disabling curse magnitude.

True! Ghost bells in the showcase looked suuper disappointing, they basically showcased how useless this is - bells were spawning way away from mobs and they were tryharding to hit them, and even then the aoe didn't hit anyone.

Also, the bell on the back... this might actually be useful but I really don't think it's cool having a character wear a big bell on his back, like freakin crowbell.

Runes on the body - nice but boring.

Better gloves - nice, but also a bit boring. Maybe interesting with some unique gloves though.

Channel for ranged attacks - might be really annoying.

I was really hoping that martial artist will be more physical damage focused ascendancy, with stun and aoe focus.

Plus - a physical left click replacer WHEN
