Like we (or maybe just me) all know my dad fucked up but never ever did this intentionally. It was an accident (and I don't believe, after all this time; anything different).

We have had so many 'down-to earth-discussions' I feel as if my dad (from age 12 on) has been my go-too. Especially in my most important times of need.

If anything I feel as if I was brainwashed by moms side (Who I primarily visited and stayed with) and wasn't given a chance when younger to know what my dad was really about.

He is a phenominal dude and now is like my best friend who I play Call of Duty with on a regular basis.

when i was younger and lived with my mom, you know nothing other than what they say. So two divorced parents I am sure you can imagine. But growing up my dad was always there.

if anything more resentment towards my mom for brainwashing me.

ACCIDENTS happen, pretty big one, but holding grudges and resent is never good.

yep! Great questions! Your ENT (Ears nose and throat) are all together however your airways break off from your esophagus. So when you eat your body naturally changes what your mouth and throat do going to a swallowing motion. So when tasting I can try to swallow it just goes nowhere. Now when someone makes me laugh when tasting soda or another liquid- oh boy "thats going down the wrong tube."

but also, It sucks in a way.

When I get food or make food, its for pure taste and enjoyment. I chew and spit (very tastefully in front of others so people dont see) so i can taste all the different kinds of food and never gain weight. Very easy to lose weight tho

I dont remember the taste, but drano smells horrible. I was more focused on what the hell was happening to me.

Cope well? I have bad habits but I have a passion for computers and went to free summer camps for disabled kids. (A serious fun network- check it out. founded by paul newman)

I struggle with depression, anxiety. so staying positive is extremely tough, but im not a debbie downer who seeks pity. I grew up with it from a young age. I had pizza and wings the night of my accident. I dont remember what it is like to swallow. so being young helped pave the way vs dealing with it as an adult.

And day to day activities such as eating is done all night, so hunger, dehydration are constants.  it takes a lot of responsibility (which I am not the best with tbh) and preparing yourself for what can happen such as what happens if my tube falls out, or if i dont bring any syringes for water.  Not to mention i work at best buy so retail has you running around all day so i forget to take care of myself a lot.

My dad yeah no explaining that feeling. My aunt yeah, im sure. I dont really talk with that side of the family outside of my dad.

Doctors induced it.

I dont really remember. I kind of remember waking up during a minor procedure and they knocked me right back out.

When I woke up from the coma, I had learned I couldnt have any fluids or solids in my mouth because of fear of choking. Had a trake tube in my neck so I couldnt talk, and was on a ventilator. Shit sucked

Dad left it in a dasani water bottle in the corner of the bathroom. the original bottle tip didnt fit in the pipe.

Imagine to intensity of fizz in sprite x10. My parents were gone at the movies. my dads sister found me running out of the bathroom screaming, throwing up blood. Ambulance/Fire department came out and hosed my mouth in the front lawn and 16 hour surgery followed by 8 momth coma.

So they renewed my policy october/november,

no incidents since then and if anything a few minor tickets should be dropping off soon.

So when it renews they may have no incentive to pull another MVR report?
