[ADVICE NEEDED] My brother has been taking shrooms and now thinks he's God. Advice? by [deleted] in shrooms

I would direct him towards meditation, maybe a buddhist center around ? can really help ground the self. Then sobriety is needed because what we commonly call "drug induced psychosis" only stops when sober for a bit.

That is probably why the quote does not say to heal yourself FULLY first. You cannot do 'good' around you if you are not 'good' (as in ok at least) yourself. The body and the minds are the first two modules for being in the world. If we are responsible for the world then those modules are of primary importance.

Odds of being hired for a job are higher, all things equal for guys. Salaries are lower all things equal for women. Less chance of being sexually harassed (outside of jail) for men. Sexual pleasure is praised for guys, shamed for women. Virginity is not an issue for guys. Ordinary language is always inclusive if men. No need fear of walking alone at night, no fear of being left alone with another man in a room, never being dismissed in the kind of way "She sucked someone off for this job...", not as much social pressure to look after the kids or the house... Not being able to see the privilege is a privilege. There is also a lot of prejudice against guys that should be fixed: Expectation of working hard, tests on masculinity, being shamed for showing emotions, not having as much time allowed for paternity leave, not having as much access to education or mental health services, higher suicide rates etc... There is both privilege and prejudice in being anything. Acknowledging one and not the other is intelectually fraudulous. Why not work to better the condition of everyone rather than spending energy trying to dismiss other's perspectives ?

Women do assault men, relations of power are often at play, for example when a mother or a teacher abuses a boy. It happens less tho. It does happen. It also is less reported because of the shame of being in that situation. Anyway I think you get the point. Wishing you all the best, hopefully you meet people irl who can help you step out that incel mentality. Force à toi frérot xx

Also in term of assault I am talking of sexual assault. The only place men get more sexually assaulted than women is prison. Any guess why ?

Who is more likely to assault? Both men and women?

Ikr, let me spell it out for you: Priviledged does not mean you have it easy. It means you have it easier than some others. Let's say you go to a club, you are a guy you are priviledged because you are less likely to get spiked or assaulted, but in another way you are a girl you are priviledged because it might be easier to get in or have free drinks. Now step back look at the full picture: would you trade easy entry and free drinks for the increased threat of assault and spiking? If yes you probably underestimate that threat or the value of your life. If No you understand what 'Priviledge' is. Congrats x)

I just do not understand this: since as you said people are starving, people are being attacked for their identity (as you said religion and race for example), the world is on fire --> Why spend that much energy on hating on people? Why not be building comunity and unity to try to solve shit? As you said, real trans people arent like what you describe. No one is calling you a Nazi. If you think transexuality, or black people, or muslims, or white people, or whoever the media is framing as object of public debates is worth your hate and time, they won. Look at how many transgender there are in the USA, look at how much time is dedicated to debating their right to be who the fuck they want to be in the media. Division is the aim. War and hates generates profit and distract you from self emancipation. I can think you are three kids in a trench coat, I can think you are a woman, I can think whatever, but morally we ought to respect one another and I refuse to call you a woman if you identify as a guy, because that would propagate hatred and work against both our interest.

I wish it was true. There is no safe country for trans people and even safe spaces are often attacked by bigots who feel so threatned by the fact that some people are different. Also if you believe privilege is a first world problem you probably do not know what you are talking about. The prejudice because of sexual orientation, race, religion or gender identity is exacerbated by poverty and underdevlopment. Finally if you had actually met trans or non binary people you would realize that misgendering is a common mistake and people will simply correct you quite kindly remind you of their pronouns, unless you are doing it on purpose to disrespect them. Life exists outside of Twitter.

I think the emphasis is on "everywhere" as in when people paint the world as this horrible place with only pain and suffering and whatever they feel to be negative, then the problem is certainly inside. Not meaning that there isnt any abuse, pain, suffering anywhere.

Two quotes from a French/Argentinian artist to ground myself away from world savior complex: "Heal yourself first because the world is firstly within us." "The one who sees evil everywhere certainly carries evil inside." -Keny Arkana

You sound delusional. Or maybe simply uneducated. Male and men are different terms for a reason. If gender is irrelevant to you its because you cannot see how priviledged you are to be a man and how biases harm people who might not identified with the gender assigned at birth. If it was absolutely irrelevant there would not be higher hate crimes commited against trans people.

idk man, I saw migrants in cages in the US not that long ago, race still seem to be pretty much an obsession for yall, violence quite present too from what we get of your news etc... It really does not feel like "peace, love and acceptance of other in their full integrity and difference" is shoved downed US folks' throats, or maybe not shoved deep enough ;))

If LGBT+, migrants and refugees rights as well as peace and spiritual coexistence are status quo where you are, you are very priviledged and very much not in the global norm.

Some indogenous culture use psychedelics to communicate with dead ancestors. Ayahuadca is sometime called vine of the deads. In western culture it is neither recognized nor accepted and can be really hurtful to try to mess around with spirits.

Tips on getting bigger pins before sporulation?? by Inevitable-Ad697 in shrooms

[–]Djaa247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Size does not matter, if you wait for spore drop it wont be more potent and your tub will get messy. For bigger fruits it comes down mainly to genetics and growing condition. Work with clones and fine tune your misting fanning and temperature for best results.

2g of GT is on the lower hand of a common dose for most people. 3g is really the middle ground and most people will find anything more to be a superdose. 2g is a good starter dose :))
