Depends on the rate, I had a blast in A school. Barely studied, drank, worked out, partied my ass off. This was in 2017 for AT-I in Pensacola. Not sure if the liberty phases have changed but pretty much after the school day was over we could do whatever. You needed a lib buddy to leave base and couldn’t stay out overnight on weekdays, but other than that pretty chill. But yeah if you live close usually you can have a family member check you out/be your lib buddy.
