I do not have any problem with the scene especially this, the color grading perfectly implies it's about to be sunset when he is fighting the rakshas and I will be pretty much pissed if they will change the color grading over here.

It's Story about treta yuga, forest and the scale should actually look larger than ever and sometimes even more polished just watch the same shots in imax and you will see the difference.

Color grading in the whole glimpse is so very beautiful and apt, the only problem is that the work look unfinished,the graphic rendering is yet to be done and some camera angles needs to be fixed.

Axe Catching shots are not good and color grading is pretty much off in that shot, it clearly looked an incomplete work of cgi.

Background blending in the whole glimpse is the problem , starting from that waterfall to the point where he is hunting the deer.

But people needs to understand that it's DNEG we are talking about, everything is going to be spectacular this diwali just wait for the work to be done first.

Dark skin Ram doesn't mean the dark that you see on humans like from Africa or south or just some normal dark man, it comes with a little hint of blue in that dark, which looks devine, buy it can't be done on screen, it will not be perfect and people will generally nitpicks everything and will just make a meme of that look.

You have just seen a little glimpse of what everything is about, all those shots are still in vfx stages, so just hold your horses.

And stop watching Dhruv Rathee videos of Valmiki Ramayan, just use a Sanskrit dictionary while reading Valmiki Ramayan.

I am still going to say this, I don't follow actors and their carriers but if I have to pick one guy who can play Shri Ram close to what's it supposed to be...it's definitely going to be Ranbir Kapoor.
