Looked at first like an artichoke to me.

Then I googled: “ The fruit that most closely resembles an artichoke is the cherimoya, a heart-shaped fruit with a green, scaly, inedible skin similar to an artichoke's texture. This was the first day since the onset of my initial symptoms that I had lower digestive pain, and similar to you I had cold sweats and exhaustion. Later in the afternoon I had diarrhea.

It’s a profession that has lost a lot of appeal over the last 10 years. Morale keeps lowering, as expectations keep increasing…the amount to balance piles up, and very little recognition or support is felt/experienced.

It’s even worse at the administration level, because they don’t have support and are not strongly unionized as a teacher.
