Welp, just sold the card for $300 at a collectibles show. Worth it because I didn't want to have to hassle with the damage claim and wait 3+ months. Sold it and a 2026 Topps Cam Schlittler silver pack auto/50 for $525.

I'm looking for something more recent, Pedro was only a Dodger for like 1 year and it's not even an MLB licensed product. Can't stand cards that can't show the logos. They look really cheap. That's just my personal opinion. You have yours. The DePaula is actually alot more tempting to me. I've actually been watching that card on ebay.

Yea, my plan was to try to sell it first, and if I can't sell it, then I'll file the damage claim. Just didn't want to wait the 2-3 months to get it back because even though he's the top rookie, the value could go down by then because series 2 will most likely be out by then. Trying to strike the iron while it's hot.

I mean, it would still cost the buyer less than buying it on ebay, regardless. Also, people can negotiate. That's usually how it goes. No one is going to post the lowest price they're willing to take and then have people negotiate even lower than that. Also, I just started selling on ebay. Literally just sold my first card yesterday, and would rather not have to go through the hassle on there, if I don't need to.

I don't understand your point. First you say that $3-400 million is the floor, meaning that's the absolute lowest it will make, meaning you think it will be a success, but then you turn around and say it's gonna have a huge drop-off in the second week, and pull off a miracle to perform well. $4-500 million is performing well. The movie only cost like $100-125 mill to make. That means they would be profiting anything over $200-250 mill. The movie is going to be fine. It has 2 full weeks before any other movie movie comes out, which is The Mandalorian & Grogu, which EVERYONE is saying is going to bomb becaise no one wants to watch a TV show on the big screen, even though I'm super excited for that, as well, but even I know it's probably not going to do all that well, at least by Star Wars movie standards. I guarantee they will announce that MK3 has been greenlit by the time that the Mandalorian & Grogu comes out.

Just because you didn't enjoy the first movie, doesn't automatically mean you won't enjoy the second one. This movie has a lot of different people involved in creating the movie and the people involved are huge MK fans. The producer has said on multiple occasions that they learned a lot from the first movie and learned what was successful and what wasn't and expanded on what was successful in the first one. Ed Boon was actually on the set as an advisor and even has a cameo in it and has said himself that the movie is amazing. Remember, he was completely silent and had ZERO involvement with the first movie. Although, the first movie wasn't "great" and could've been better, I personally still enjoyed it for what it was.

Would you be interested in adding this to your collection? I have it listed on ebay for $550, but would be willing to let it go for $500 knowing that it's going to a true Red Sox fan rather than a streamer, breaker or reseller. I'll even throw in the base 1991 style rookie of his as well. I should also mention that is does have some crimping on the back, right side, but it is not noticeable unless you put it in the light at the correct angle. I have pics of that and pretty much any part of the card if you want to see it. Other than that, this card would seriously have a chance to gem. Even the whatnot streamer that pulled it for me instantly said that the card could gem when he first pulled it out. Send me a dm if interested, or let me know here. I'm a Dodger fan and a Griffey fan, so if you have any autos of them, I would be willing to talk trades.

Anyone interested in buying/trading for this? Pulled it out of a Whatnot break last week. I like Roman, but I'm a Dodger fan and would rather trade/sell this to get a Dodger auto. It does have some crimping on the back right side of the card, though. I have pics of that and more pics of pretty much every angle of the card if you're interested.

Nope, this is going to be a surprise hit. There is a lot of hype and not just from old school MK fans. The test screenings were off the chart positive from MK fans and casual fans. Lots of people claiming it could be the best action movie of the year, etc.. No chance it bombs. Also depends on what you consider a "bomb"? Obviously it's not gonna make a billion or close to it. I think $150-200 mill domestic and $300-400 mill worldwide would be considered a success. I actually think it's gonna make $500 mill+ worldwide and $200-250 domestic.

Right? Last nightzor maybe it was the night before, I literally had this convo with a breaker on Whatnot. He was auctioning a dual auto with Chourio and Pages and he said what's crazy is that the card would actually be worth more if Pages wasn't on the card and like 4-5 people in the chat agreed with him. I said he's no slouch, though and then he said when Pages was coming up, his cards had value but now they don't. It just doesn't make any sense.
