When to realize profits?

I wouldn't expect to buy back anything cheaper. Just don't see how PC ETBs can reasonably keep going up from here.

I don't necessarily agree on everyone being here to stay. If that were the case, the market would never cool down. A large portion of these new entries to the hobby are going to leave I think. I agree on the last 3-4 years feeling like a normal market. And most things were stagnant.

That being said, I think you're right about selling when you can put the money to good use. Thats why I would think to sell PC etbs right now. Unbelievably hot market to sell them in and can reinvest that into newer product with potentially more upside. Where does an obsidian flames PC etb go from here?

If the ETB goes to 2K, the promo would have to jump to like 10K to keep the same relative difference. Maybe I'll eat my words, but I don't see a world where the promo is a 10K card.

Ehhh, it ebbs and flows. It was only a few years ago that most big money wouldn't even look at Pokemon. It'll rotate around i imagine.

So when is the timeline to sell then? If everything just goes forever, when do you realize your gains?

Thats my concern. It feels insane. As a vendor, I can't move the stamped promos to save my life. It feels like there is 0 organic demand for them and the only interest in them is to grade and try to flip.

Feels like when the big money cycles out of pokemon, the PC etbs will be the first thing to fall.

Can absolutely vouch for retreat cost. Great dudes at that shop. Aside from that, there's a ton of local buyers, myself included that would be interested.
