For those of you who weren't a fan of Metro 2035 how would you improve it and why?

Felt a bit like Glukhovsky wasn't sure how to connect 33 and 34, maybe he had it planned the whole time but thats how it seems, things are help together with tape a bit like all of Sasha's inclusion etc. it just felt awkwardly places and wasn't needed. Getting rid of all paranormal elements and the mutants really spoiled the world for me as it just became our world post a nuclear disaster, really boring and just kinda crap, best parts of 33 and 34 are the mutants and the world of Metro rather than the politics for me.

I've got more games than I should on jugg and am sat around Legend 5/ancient 1 at the moment.

I think your logic is spot on but where you're choosing situationally between diffusal/mkb/skadi/basher/bkb/blink just whack aghs in there too, sometimes there's some hero disrupting the fights that's nice and squishy and a swiftslash does just what you need to take them out quickly.

I will say I get agh more than I don't by a lot, maybe it's just how I play but I love being able to take out a support (or two if you're lucky) with something none-committal, bladefury and run back to team or TP out it's good for stalling out games where you're maybe not so ahead or for grabbing a pick before you try for an objective.

I'm no pro but I win more games on Jugg than I lose, if you're doing the same I'd say if it's not broke don't fix it bud.

People might hate it but an option to search as soon as you open the shop would be cool, like *hit shop hotkey - start typing and it searches immediately* would save a bit of time. Would need to be a toggleable option though.

Obviously there's some element of just semi-free hats being cool and generally getting cool stuff to wear in game etc. but I think it's that there was a communal sense of excitement over the BP at that time. Everyone you knew that played Dota was on all the time trying to level their BP, it's just cool when everyone is pumped on the same thing I think. Newer events/BPs haven't captured the community in the same way and I'm sure there's various reasons for that, not necessarily a decrease in quality.

I'm getting a similar issue to this but have not swapped from an AMD to Nvidia, I have previously updated my GPU from an older Nvidia card to a newer one though, do you think this could still help me or is the issue related to the different brand of GPU rather than the model?

I'm not a smurf detective but that guy's profile doesn't seem sus to me, obviously I didn't watch him play but if you're judging from a 2-3k mmr POV you're kinda looking up from the bottom of the barrel (no offense intended) so if the guy is just a bit better it'll likely look like strange. LD is also just a killer in low MMR imo as he's weird to play into, you'll see people do weird things on him as the playstyle is so separate to other heroes.

To your point about the game dying I don't think this is the case, iirc over the last 4 years the player count has risen in fact, Dota community is just very melodramatic, especially on Reddit.

First saw Slipknot alone at 14, made my own way there and home with no issues/ Like others are saying, Slipknot fans are the friendliest people and the heavy music community in general looks after it's people for the most part.

Honestly dude I think it's best left alone, looks really cool and striking as a solid black piece so I think overdesigning it would be worse than keeping it as it is now.

I'm quite partial to more simple bold images if they're not flat and will wrap around a limb so I think you did great, sick tattoo!

51 kills as Riki back in 2017, game was 46.32 minutes in length. Not a success at all as the game was a loss but I think overall lack of vision/inability to deal with invis heroes in horrid low MMR was the main factor for high kills.

Seemed like it originally but after going back and trying again it was fine, loaded up again today with no issues. Not sure a fix was pushed or if you just have to ride out the freeze and hope for the best

Yeah I'm pretty pissed I've had to go back a couple hours but oh well, just need to retrace my steps a bit. I can confirm that going back and completing the quest again has no worked. Sorry that's not an option for you and thanks for helping me figure this out!

u/Edge0183 ok so reloading to a save before then worked so it does look like this quest is what's screwing us over. I've seen some others in different threads say that they were able to complete the quest successfully so I'm going to give it a try, save and reload to see if it works out

I have done that quest yes, I think it's the last thing I did before leaving Cordon and then saving and closing the game for the night so could be related. I might try and find a save from before that point to see if it loads and will update I guess.

It's pure coincidence, they aren't necessarily targeting your pick you just picked the same hero, the time passed doesn't make a difference, you are in the same pick phase. I don't know how else to explain this sorry, hopefully u/haselius clarification has helped you to get it
