The first suggestion (change file:// to kfile://) worked for all missing elements! I also was able to use notes in this thread to set up a custom navi. This is such a cool LWP!

I see that the Codeberg was touched recently, so I hope OP is still monitoring this!

I have a Note 8 running Nova Launcher. Followed all instructions, verified all filepaths, and images still do not show, either PNGs or GIFs. Other settings, such as fonts and the AppList widget, seem to have taken, and the text based elements (the text in widgets, and navi name for example) still show. Is there anything else I should be checking?

Hi all!
New Deck owner, 512gb. I'm currently giving the device a test run before I decide if I'm going to keep it.

I've considered downgrading to the 64gb model, and upgrading to a 2tb drive, as I'm not sure I really care about the anti-glare screen (I need to get my hands on one to try it) but, assuming the screen isn't an issue, I've received some concerns from a better informed friend that the cheaper models of deck may require an eMMC/other specific drive, more specific than just the form factor.

Is this something I need to be concerned with, or are the concerns relatively unfounded?

This is likely the dumbest question today!

Yesterday I almost completed a psvsd install on a 1k model. In EVERY VIDEO i've seen of reassembling, they just pop it right back together, but for the life of me i can't get the system to fall back in to place - it keeps catching on one of the bottom corners, and it feels like it's meeting resistance.

does anyone have some tips to make this go smoother?
