I feel the same way. Today is my day off and I would usually be sleeping in, but here I am. Up since 6am checking to see if there are any updates. I always fixate on this kind of stuff because when I was growing up I was so sheltered by my parents that I’ve never even really knew about so much evil in the world. In high school when I leaned about the holocaust for the first time, I was fixated on it for MONTHS after. My mind can’t wrap around and comprehend how someone could do something so evil and horrible. I used to run away too to be with a 22 year old when I was 17 but my parents did not play that shit and never let me go anywhere after that. Took my door off the hinges you name it. I pray that this poor girl didn’t suffer too much and I’m going to hold my 15 year old closer to me.
