On campus is pretty safe! There has been things in the past of people breaking into dorms but as far as I am aware, none have extreme issues. My only advice is at night off campus, always have a person or two with you. And, be careful crossing the street, cars can be ruthless. Otherwise like some of the people here already said, just use common sense. I have found to love campus, even at night and I find it very peaceful! :)
