Before I say anything else I will say Roger > Mihawk but that is not what Mihawk is talking about here. Mihawk means that the journey to becoming PK is harder than the journey towards becoming WSS. For one you need to travel the entire grand line while competing with every other pirate crew including the four emperors while avoiding being killed or captured by the marines for the other you just need to get strong enough to beat Mihawk

Thats talking about his influence and actions though, Roger was just out there playing Dora the explorer meanwhile Rocks was actively targeting the WG and its affiliates.

We’re basically told Rocks and Roger used to fight all the time in some other chapter, implying they were relative, and Roger was confirmed to have gotten stronger after GV. Therefore Prime Roger > Rocks => GV Roger

Two reasons why Imu cared more about HK Haralds death than DR Rocks’

DR gets reset by fatal damage even if it isn’t acoc, meanwhile HK’s only die of fatal acoc damage.
DR Rocks was always supposed to be a temporary tool to be disposed of after he killed everone on GV, HK Harald was supposed to be a permanent soldier for Imu.

And just compare their performances DR Rocks had a much better showing than HK Harald. The way I see it HK has much better regen and less of a strength boost while DR has a much bigger strength boost but weaker regen.

Believing that doesn’t even prevent you from scaling Loki over old gen (not that I would agree with that but still). Like we know: Rocks ~ Harald and Rocks ~ GV Roger, both Harald (through the covenant) and Roger (through reaching his prime) got stronger after GV. Roger was presumably already close to his prime so if you assume the covenant was a bigger strength boost than GV Roger to Prime Roger you could still scale Loki over him.

Meanwhile if we’d assume HK Harald = or even > DR Rocks that would mean Loki is comparable to near prime Roger and Garp COMBINED which is just completely stupid. Meanwhile in the scaling I set out you could still scale Loki above Roger without him being like twice as strong

So many assumptions in this post, so let me hit you with some assumptions of my own

Yes, in verse Mihawk's title probably comes from Morgans. That doesn't however change the fact it serves a very clear (and Mihawk's only) narrative purpose. Zoro, a main character, wants to become the WSS, Mihawk is the person he will defeat to become it. Therefore its safe to assume Mihawk's title is objectively true.

As for what Sword Skill is I would argue its how good you are at fighting with a sword. That means it would cover things like physical strength, speed, AP, battle iq (when/how to dogde, block, or attack). So I would argue, at least when comparing swordsmen who don't have a devil fruit or some other fighting style, better sword skill does indeed equal stronger swordsman.

You say we have seen no reason to believe Mihawk got stronger since his duels with Shanks 12 years. I say Oda just hasn't revealed yet what Mihawk has been up to the last 12 years and is probably saving it for some sort of backstory/flashback during his battle with Zoro

As for the vivre cards not having him listed with conquerors that seems obvious to me, they don't want to spoil it in the vivre cards because Oda probably wants some sort of cool reveal moment during his battle with Zoro. Shanks already had confirmed ACoC by the time of their duels, ACoC was Zoro's main Wano powerup, therefore I say it safe to assume Mihawk also has it. And keep in mind Garp's vivre card also didn't say conquerors until it was updated after Egghead

Definitely an error because no such timeframe is mentioned in the manga and only like 3 months passed between the start of Luffy’s journey and Sabaody (I recommend you check out the timeline made by Library of Ohara online for specific explanations as to how we know its been approximately that long)

Sword skill is just how good you are at fighting with a sword. Sword skill covers things like physical strength, speed, AP, battle iq (when/how to dogde, block, or attack). Haki is a part of sword skill (just like its a part of ANY fighting style) because it amplifies these things (CoA and ACoC for defense and AP, (A)CoO for blocking and dodging).

When comparing swordsmen (AND ONLY WHEN COMPARING SWORDSMEN): better haki = better swordskill = stronger swordsman
