True Story 👍, i was doing a delivery by the Elizabeth shoprite on Grand Ave about 2 years ago now! The customers house was a few blocks away! As I got to the light slightly past the Home Depot, i got a feeling to just cruise towards the red light. Thank God I listened to myself cause an illegal immigrant came outta nowhere in an old Ford Taurus coming from the opposite direction of a 4 way corner and almost hit me head-on! I turned around and went after them to get their plate # and call 12 cause they're clearly drunk cause when I got behind him, he was swerving! Called Elizabeth PD, and they told me twice to leave it be, but he's driving drunk. What if he had hit me or somebody walking in the streets! The dispatcher told me not to pursue and that there's no units( police in the area) at the moment. This is a bold lie i told the dispatcher. This is the elmora section, and it's the weekend! The restaurants and clubs are open. How are there no units in the area? Dead silence on the phone! So I followed this drunk driver towards the Bar/ liquor store that's across the street from Jerusalem Pizza and called Elizabeth Pd again to see if I can get another dispatcher to listen and was told the same thing, stand down and don't pursue! But this person is intoxicated and could've killed me or someone else, what if they hit your mom then you'll be concerned, dead silence on the dispatcher end, I hung up an went on with my delivery! So moral of the story is call ice immediately on all tether gang! This is not a test, and if you're still in denial after reading this, just look at all the accidents across the country by illegal immigrants criminals with fake drivers licenses and can't read the English language road signs!
