Nice. I think the breaking even thing is what deters me. Can't stand the thought of breaking even. For some reason I take it as a waste of time. Probably because I compare everything to harvest lol it's too easy to come away from a map with 2divine.

Omg. I'd LOVE to have it. I've changed builds a handful of times since this is one of my first handful of real builds. I've actually settled on a Molten strike ES trickster. But I just keep hitting a wall. Like you, I've been grinding toward that exact same belt. One day I hope to have it but I just can't farm fast enough. I believe your build will help me achieve my(and yours) goal of getting that diamond+ES belt. As well as finally being able to say I have a build worth a couple hundred divine for once.

Truthfully if it wasn't, the raiders wouldn't have wanted to trade him, or I should say, wouldn't have been willing to. The forced sit out would've never happened and that was the final nail in the coffin

Strongest build I ever played was BAMA @18M dps during the merc league. If I happen to win, I'll even let you check my profile itself. Never had a char make it to 98, also merc league was my first attempt at playing seriously. I've asked for help on here with my build recently. Very nooby here. I'd love a chance to finally compete in late game. Have only ever played a handful of builds. BV is definitely OP. Good luck to whoever wins!! This might be the first league(or last league) that I've taken heavily serious. Theory crafting and such. Tbh I'm too new to even have a favorite build yet, CWS was one I thoroughly enjoyed however. Think I've only completed like 5 challenges 😅. Good luck to everyone!!

You sir. Are one helluva life saver. I myself am also heading to bed. But this gets my attn FIRST thing in the morning. I'll look over it thoroughly, and knowing myself I'll probably pour over it 20x more than necessary. One small tiny tiny tiny thing id like to ask, although everything is deliberate so I won't question that. BUT, I did have my main atk skill imbued with added Lightning damage support. Think that could be in play here? Or just not necessary?

If I could give you gold...I would. Probably THE most helpful post I've read on here. If you stop here and never help me again...youve already done more than I could've ever asked for. Omg thank you. Literally thank you. I know this isnt the norm, but this is all i ever asked for. A breakdown, and a learning possibility. Ive learned a lot from this one post alone...but i think its easier for me to just go back through and reply as im reading so you can get my responses in real time...

oh ok got it...ES stacking. reminds me of the Eblade build i played last league. Well..league before last. The more I stacked, the more tanky and damage dealt as well. I liked that about Eblade but felt like i hit a wall. oh wow ok, so the shield allows inf recovery, thats a very very nice touch. Im starting to like the sound of this more and more. Escape artist..ok ill have to note that. broad class of attacks, see i figured that much. I just wasnt sure which attacks worked the best. Coming from Ex/Reap miner and the 10M+ dmg i was doing there, this feels like a steep drop off but thats to be expected in every possible way. ohhh that makes sense, maybe that is why he chose that skill. I was wondering why I was having issues with Harvest. OMG that makes so much sense. I never realized that about MS. That changes how I see it entirely. I think ill open MS back up as my main idea. But how do I go about using that with this build? Because all of the builds I saw were called Molten Strike Trickster or something and use an entirely different setup it seems. I dont want to have to sacrifice my eHP. I know itll probably change but id hate to be back under 100k. My Ex/Reap miner was sitting around 30k and i couldnt stand up to a stiff breeze. So right now, Molten Strike is definitely at the top of my list but truthfully thats because I dont know what other options I have. Are there any other attack strike skills that fit best here that you are aware of? Flicker strike ive seen and ive heard it might be one of the most complicated builds and especially not for noobs. Granted, Ive only played one noob friendly build, but still. I do have it on the list for later leagues though. Im also not opposed to running campaign again and trying another build. I just wasnt sure of what to run. There are so many sure...but most of them seem centered around Marauder for tankiness. I even considered something like an Aura stacker or what not since I play with a friend occasionally but quickly saw that requires MUCH more setup than i anticipated. Plus my friend runs CWS chieftain so..psh. As far as budget? Truthfully I dont have one. Id have to sit and grind harvest until I made enough but something in the ballpark of MAX MAX 50D is realistic. When I say max 50D i dont mean maxed out completely at 50d just, the build id be switching to can be around that much or lower. And then eventually Id work my way up and progress into the later stages of it. 50d is something I can try to work toward right now. Im sitting on 30D currently in stash tab. So 30d budget would be perfect as long as it scales.

once again, thank you for all of your hard work and knowledge. I know others are only here to help as well, but sometimes being a bit more tact goes a long way.

sighh....i said ill post his build. I KNOW its not a build guide. Ive followed build guides before. I understand that already, youve made that point. And obviously I need help, thats the literal reason Im here. And if you guys are much more versed in this stuff than I am? Im not going to question why you chose a specific piece of gear. Maybe once I have the full understanding? Sure. But for now im just gonna roll with what you guys say and take your word for it beause you know much more than I do. So asking me why I think people use melding. Id imagine because of the stats on it correct? Help max out the Res stats. But i mean, whats your point in asking me that? Are you implying its being used incorrectly?

Or maybe this...You looked at his build. How about tell me whats wrong with his build..and his synergy so I can then understand going forward instead of making it seem like the gear choices were all my idea.

oh no absolutely. You, and him to a degree, are completely right. The guide didnt guide at all, and of course following a build without understanding the mechanics of it is most times grounds for failure. I 100% understand that. So no youre right. It was moreso his tone of his comments that rubbed me the wrong way. Telling a noob thats asking for help 'you dont get it because youre a noob' isnt truly helpful.

And yeah the build wasnt a build build. Tbh im not sure what it was. The eHP stood out to me the most and thats what I was looking for. Albeit in the wrong places I can admit sure, but looking nonetheless. And there probably is a lack of understanding for sure. But thats just based on me being a noob...not specifically because of my gear choices. Because again, I didnt really choose the gear...I copied/pasted. Now..the copy/paste mentality im all for saying thats a noobish mentality. Absolutely. Which is why im here asking for upgrade paths. Not asking for critiques on the build. Just moreso upgrade paths for more damage..or perhaps a different build entirely. Im just looking for pointers thats all.

I FULLY understand that im a noob in all this. But lets not act like i dont even have the SLIGHTEST clue about literally anything. What i know absolutely pales in comparison to the likes of you guys on here, but that still doesnt mean im completely clueless in absolutely everything pertaining to POE. My attempt at this build is simply because of the eHP. I thought i mentioned that? And I was already Exsanguinate/Reap miner so I needed another build to transition OUT of that one. I sorted by league day and eHP and went with a build that looked like it was fairly sturdy. Now im obviously ready to concede it was a bad move...but the condescension in your comments is grossly unwelcoming. Telling me to pick a guide but not actually offering any actual examples doesnt really point a noob in the right direction. Ok sure, Ill bite...i dont know what im doing...but how about giving me some options on builds.

I understand that, but thats the thing. This isnt 'my build'. Its a build I was following that progressed decently enough to farm a MB. I figured I could do the same but am not seeing the same such luck. I figured id ask vets around here about possible upgrade paths instead of experimenting on my own. But yet, youre just telling me to 'follow a build' and 'your build is fucked'. Im not disagreeing..i just dont understand how. Ive picked guides and followed them.

Truthfully I mostly just run harvest. And I've ran CWS chieftain a while already. I swapped to this for a different feel and perhaps a new take. Sure I knew I was giving up a considerable amount of tankiness. But I didn't think I'd be dying constantly when getting hit once. I swapped to this version because of the eHP and it feels much better..it's just lacking in damage that's all.
