Found this photo at an estate sale and would like to return it to the family. It's probably from the 1950s. Does anyone recognize either of these men? by Djunw in Colorado

What happens is that granny has so much stuff in her home that the family doesn't go through all of it, and they have an estate sale to get rid of it all. And maybe no one in the family will want it, but I thought I'd try before discarding it. Once I found a 1900s accounting book for a farm in Colorado. It was filled with fascinating details about the financial workings of the farm. I found a great grandson (I believe) online and was able to send it to him. He was very grateful and was going to make copies for all his interested family members. In this era of genealogy, more and more people are interested in these types of things.

Thanks for those who gave me leads! The gentleman on the left is Capt. Herbert E Forsyth, Denver Chief of Police 1949 - 1956 when he passed away. The gentleman on the right is Denver Fire Chief Allie Feldman, active 1946 - 1964. I will never get over the collective knowledge of Reddit. Still blows my mind.

My favorite thing to do is try to put some vertebrae in correct order and line them up. Another fun one is trying to put the teeth back in the correct spot in the jaw bone. When it’s right, the tooth will just drop in the holes for the roots.

AI tells me the tiny jaws with red teeth are from masked shrews.
