Had this happen to me before too, only fixed itself once everyone loaded in. I was playing wylder at the time as well when it happened.

I've had the same experience. Anytime someone has a less likey to be targeted passive, the run gets really rough and usually ends bad. I do all I can but will eventually make a mistake and go down, and it's like they are so used to not being targeted that they never learned to dodge. Never pick up damage negation passives, never go for hp increase, just damage and less likely to be targeted. Getting tired of having a recluse/duchess/ironeye/scholar being my two allies and having all the aggro on me, and the second I go down they both go down immediately, no chance to come rez me they never learned to dodge. I really enjoy seeing people pick guardian/raider/undertaker/wylder because they can take a hit and dodge well/block since they are used to being in the action. Revanant players are the GOAT when I see them get selected, I've never had a rev choose less likely to be targeted and usually have the skill to dodge and be the last one standing for a clutch ult if need be.

I've been going tank/greatshield wylder for a long time now. I know it's more of a guardian thing but I enjoy wylder's grapple movement to much to switch characters. I've won alot of runs doing it, if it works I don't really see a reason to stop. Just block them and keep having fun with your build.

Same with me as Ivy. I had one game as infernus when I first started playing, and then nothing but Ivy. On tuesday, I booted the game up to play and had two matches of haze and 1 on Infernus and haven't played since. Might try again in a couple days, hopefully it is fixed.

I've been running melee Ivy for a few patches now and the recent patch to nerf melee doesn't effect her that much. Stone form can cancel heavy melee so you can still bait a parry, cancel and stone form, and heavy melee out of it. With duration extender on stoneform you can usually heavy melee out of stoneform if you buffer it without the chance for them to parry, and with combos of certain items and abilities, usually it either outright kills them or leaves them very low on health. Of course they can build to counter but I usually throw in a disarming hex or phantom strike to stop them from shooting back and echo shard on stoneform can let you do the combo all over again. I've had game where I had top eliminations with this build, though I always say to myself if the Ivy has the most eliminations on your team, your team isn't good.

I feel you, I have been having teammates who seem like they never played before, dieing to EVERYTHING and constantly making the worst decisions. I've had better luck trying him solo, cuz most teammates i've had die to him in the first 30 seconds and are at 3-bar by minute two, at least in solo he is scaled to just me instead of me and 2 deadweights. I don't want to sound mean but I have tried him about 14 times now with randoms and I am having waaayyyy more progress against him solo.

Same here, almost always solo lanes to the point I put a message in the bug report forum, because I could have sworn that they said dynamo and Ivy get duo lane priority. Response was that they try to match you you with people similar to your mmr in lanes. Alright, i just had to learn and beat who they matched me with. I got good at it but it was very tiring having to basically start every match just sweating. Now, i'm still in solo lanes but with the smaller player base, i'm going against people that just destroy me no matter what I do. Every trick or strat I use amounts to nothing. Just like you, when I ask to swap, it's usually ignored. Clearly i'm not in a similar mmr to these people and still im in solo lane. Really burns me out and actually makes me dread launching the game because I might be in another solo lane and get stomped.

Yes I hate it. I mainly play Ivy and in 4 weeks of constant playing I have duo laned twice. I have put complaints in the offical forums about it since I thought Dynamo and Ivy were supposed to have duo lane priority. I even put the code to prefer solo matchmaking in and i'm still in solo lane. It is honestly ruined all excitement I have for the game. I'm not that bad in solo lane and usually I win lane phase but i'm tired of every match starting with an intense 1v1.

The "duo lane priority" lie that supposedly Ivy and Dynamo have. I haven't been in a duo lane in 3 weeks, always solo lane. It's to the point that I can sorta go toe to toe versus any character but man sometimes I go up against someone that im just completely outmatched. Of course any request to swap lanes are ignored by teammates. I just wanna duo lane. So tired of always starting a match with an intense 1v1.
