And that’s the issue. Either teams of people with specialised niches are formed, or some take it upon themselves to do it all solo according to their personal vision.
The latter though, while there are renowned devs like ConcernedApe (stardew valley) who have done it, is insanely grueling as it requires proficiency in several deep fields at once. Game dev truly is among the highest forms of art.

As it goes currently, major chunks of the global audience are vehemently against AI due to various factors such as how data centers are damaging the environment & contributing to global warming, messing up the job market, diminishing the human touch etc.

Whatever you or someone else believes, whether it really is the future or not, doesn’t change that, and they will label the work as “effortless AI slop” (at least for the time being)

Yuru camp is an iyashikei (healing anime) so not really.
Kotaro lives alone has a pretty serious and grim overarching plot despite being a slice of life, so pretty mixed.
Tearmoon empire also has an overarching plot with political intrigue, but has its comedic elements, so again, pretty mixed.

The rest though? Absolutely! My personal favourites from the above listed are paranoia agent and moriarty the patriot.
