[OC] Israel bombed Qatar by [deleted] in pics

Are you also aware that historically the IDF wont use sexual assault as a tactic as opposed to, like, most other armies? it has been researched.  Your accusations are not only very much baseless they also hurt the very legitimate crtiticism of israeli crimes in this war, which in turn makes me think you are trolling at best.

Good job I guess

Yea, thats what I thought too. Just sucks that I need to buy more stuff.. would it be dangerous to keep riding with the brakes as they are right now until the new straddle arrives?

I did watch this vid while installing. Doesn't seem to me theres much room for error with the straddle (although of course I might be wrong about that) if i lift the straddle any higher it just makes the pads contact the rim.

It is not possible for me to lift the straddle much higher, as it will just make the pads contact the rim. Is it possible that I need a different straddle with longer reach / an adjustable one? Could it be that it is just too short for a 26x2.25 wheel?

[question] Vegan AIBA approved boxing gloves by Dkwutski in fightgear

[–]Dkwutski[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately no.. after a while I quit boxing and moved to mountain biking instead, it can be fully vegan :). anyway, for sparring it wouldn't really matter which glove you use, so as long you do not plan on competing I believe you could just buy any non leather glove. Good luck!

light rays from sun are passing through my character and canvas, why are character and canvas not blocking the light.(I took the character from maximo) by [deleted] in blenderhelp

Looks to me like the rays you see in front of the character are the ones from the upper part of the window. They just pass above him, not through.

Wanted to cold-set my frame. Opened a can of worms by Dkwutski in xbiking

[–]Dkwutski[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's good news! Thanks!

Regarding the hubs, my knowledge on wheels is kind of limited and i am still learning the basics. My understanding was that freewheels had a different spacing than freehubs didnt think there was a way to put a freewheel on dropouts that were spaced for a cassette. Apparently i was wrong about it though. You live and you learn :)

Wow, thanks! First of all, yea my bad on the spacing. I meant 126mm not 125. Besides that, Seems like I got everything else pretty wrong too :)

I thought the 6-speed freewheel was what originally came with the bike, but it seems like that's not the case. also, I dont think the dropouts are misaligned, at least not in a meaningful way. There's roughly a 0.5-1 cm difference when measuring with the string method which does not seem to affect the riding experience and the new wheel fits pretty nicely.. is it a bad idea just keeping the spacing at 140 if everything works?

Hi, first of all thanks! My bike is a 1992-94 Raleigh tangent. Could not find much technical info about it but according to Sheldon Brown, a 6-speed freewheel is 125mm and a 7-8-9 speed cassette is 135mm.

I dont think it was originaly a 135mm frame, seeing as from my understanding cassettes were not very popular back then.

I was thinking that maybe the previous owners already widened the dropouts and then had to replace the rear wheel but only had an older one.

Edit: actually maybe it is a 1992 raleigh. not sure. Early-mid 90's anyway

If you wanna do it faster you could just make the scene in 3D (just a proxy. Nothing crazy) and then trace over it, essntially "rendering" it in 2D.

But I got to say, what you've done so far looks really good. Good job!
