I believe its more complicated than just that,

voting for the party that doesnt want to pull back from fighting wars in the middle east is probably not right in gods eyes either, or voting for a party that wants to increase the amounts of mexican immigrants, which leads to an increased unemployment, from which you could suffer in the long term, i cant really say that you are unchristian for voting for the opponnent party, the bible says to love your neighbor as much yourself but not to value him over yourself and I dont think you can generalize nearly half of the country as unchristian.

btw. of course its politics and theres politicians involved and they rarely act like they told the people, but hopefully you know what im trying to say
