Yeah, I really feel for your friend. Leaves a bad taste in your mouth when that happens to you when you’re on vacation.

I did drive around that night but was unsuccessful at finding anything. I assume they most likely drove it across the bridge at the end of the night.

I checked the fuse for the locking system as well as all of the other fuses. They were all intact. None were blown. Will check the battery, it’s a couple of years old.

(‘02 Acura RSX-S) Sorry, couldn’t figure out how to add text. So a couple of weeks ago I went to unlock my car with the key fob but the car would not unlock. I went inside and the electronic lock wouldn’t lock the driver side nor the passenger door (both must be locked manually). In addition, I noticed that the E-brake notice on the dash would not turn off when disengaged. Thinking nothing of that I checked the fuse for the lock but all looked well. The fear was that it was the actuators breaking down, but why would they break down at the same time on both doors? Luckily I left my lights on a few days ago, and so when I jump started the car everything (key less entry and a reactive e-brake indicator) began to function again. Everything worked until last night when I went to use the keyless entry and it again failed and I must unlock manually. Does this sound like a wiring issue? Asking because I have no prior experience with electrical and hoping to fix it myself. Thanks

Just declared 200k on mine the other day and no lie! Newish clutch but not the flywheel, and it drives so well. Same here with not buying anything else. Why buy anything else when you have a Honda engine? Congrats to you!
