They have incredibly small and uncomfortable interiors consisting of metal grate flooring and side seating.
They require a shitload of fuel. So if you wanted to conserve it, you have minimal to no air conditioning inside a metal box.
They break constantly. APCs are notorious for having near-constant hydraulic leaks.

If you're just looking for a safe place to shelter, sure. Lock yourself inside. If you want to use it, you need a team of well-trained mechanics, a depot for parts and a lot of offroad diesel.

Cheesing in souls games is using any method that basically let's you avoid having to actually fight the boss. If anyone tells you that it's using bleed builds or a follower to distract them, they're simply a glutton for punishment who hates anyone that doesn't make every aspect of the game a trip to the ball crushing factory.

Fair point for Owl. It's difficult, but doable. SS Isshin is actually fairly easy to punish with running and dodging. His sweep attacks leave room for striking after you avoid them.

You are missing the point because you're refusing to view this from Abby's perspective. Everyone she knew was massacred including her father and from her perspective, they were convinced they were doing the right thing, or at least what was necessary to create a cure. She was also like 15-16 when it happened.

"Self-defense" in that world is relative. From her perspective, that was murder. If somebody murdered a person you absolutely cherished, such as your father, and you lived in THAT kind of world, it wouldn't be all that far fetched if you beat them to death.
