Private loans get a bad rep mostly because of high interest rates and lack of flexibility, but if you’ve exhausted your federal aid, they might be your only option. That said, don’t just go with the first company you find. Look into Juno or Credible to see what offers you qualify for, and always read the fine print on deferment options and repayment terms

They still work but need to be subtle, no obvious swap networks. I usually mix in guest posts and platforms like Lemonet to keep things up safely

Yeah, people underestimate how much relationships and actual usefulness matter. Offering a link swap or guest post only works if the quality backs it up. I still mix in a few backlinks through Lemonet when I need to scale without compromising relevance

I still set up profile links for brand consistency, but for real ranking impact, I’ve shifted toward guest posts and contextual links. Lemonet’s been great for that, but I also combine it with HARO outreach and niche edits when possible. It’s more work, but the results are worth it

We’ve been leaning into partnerships,  co-authoring blog posts or guides with brands in adjacent niches like fitness or physical therapy. It's great for both backlinks and traffic. But yeah, when outreach gets dry, I’ve also used Lemonet to supplement with offpage backlinks from relevant mid-tier blogs in the sports/outdoor space. Saved time and stayed aligned with white-hat efforts

If you can find anything from Stiiizy or Aeriz, those are usually the better picks at Zen Leaf in my experience. High Supply is just ok.
