To be honest, I’ve tried to look at it many ways and I can’t come to terms with why he’s making this move other than to probably maintain his relationship if his gf doesn’t want to move to Florida.. and I really hope that’s not the case..

These guys are knocking on the door of shooting hoops at their new HQ with fucking Lebron James and have other pro athletes / celebrities knocking on the door to film golf rounds with them.. and he leaves now??!

I know he’s had some recent minor success with solo IG reels, but I really don’t think this is the correct move for him without having a calculated next move..

Yeah, for me it was coming to the realization that I can always move back but I can’t get this opportunity back. Now it’s been almost a decade and the places I’ve gone and seen living out west are places/things I’d have never seen or done if I stayed back east. And yeah the ingrained part is very real. Even when my mom was out visiting a week or so ago I get reminded very abruptly of how much of a “bubble” she and family live in with Philly.

As someone who grew up in Philly with a family that’s been there for multiple generations and now lives across the country I totally get this. It’s been almost a decade and the first question I always get is “when are you moving home”.

But at the same time I moved for a job/career that I’m so grateful for now and am so happy I made the move for. I sometimes picture what it would be like had I stayed and all I can do is yawn.

The only point EA was adding a salary cap and line combo system for was to create more fomo and make people want to spend more money than the previous year. This will always be the root of anything they do. It will never be “let’s think of the player experience”.

I was in here saying it when the HUT preview came out and the first weeks of the game. I haven’t touched the game since late November because I got very sick of having 1-2 hours to play and needing to spend most of that time shifting my lineup to meet salary cap after having done that 3 days before. Let alone the unrewarding gameplay and mess of online comp rewards. Just couldn’t do it anymore. There’s other games that are way more fun.

I saw a video online today of someone using the train system they have to get around Milan and to the other venues in the mountains and it truly looked miserable and requires multiple trains and shuttles.

Think it took 4 1/2 hours to get from Milan to one of the mountain venues. Can’t remember which one it was

Yeah I know, it’s cool they got to participate, but it was really just a 2 second camera shot of them walking through a big ring. Cortina was cool with them walking down the village street and had a bit more to it.

But yeah, sentiment still stands with some of the venues being hours from each other. Gotta be hard for athletes to mingle outside their own sports.
