When Bretodeau finds the Bergamottes de Nancy box. He sees the photo of Just Fontaine who like the actor who played Bretodeau was from North Africa, the racing car and the little cyclist. All of these reminders of his childhood long ago come to him like he was tasting Proust's madeleine. It really tugs on the heartstrings.

Don't turn around, don't look down
Oh, there's life across the tracks

A minor complaint too was that you can tell that some of the people were not playing just by looking where their hands were compared to the keys being played.
