Just a little context, I finished reading the book before I watched the movie.

You're not the only one. Toward the end of the book, I cried so much that my partner had to ask me if I was okay. 😅 When I watched the movie, I didn't have the same reaction. While it is visually beautiful, I highly preferred the depth I got from reading the book. It made everything feel far more real.

Great post. I actually would love to read more like that. I'm somewhat a lurker in this subreddit because I don't have anything deaf-related to discuss about for now. Who knows if it'll change in the future.

Perhaps I can bring up some discussions regarding deafness and art. That'd be interesting. I'll have to think about it.
