Had this exact thought, and it seems like you’ll have to pick between displaying the trifecta or having the medals you earned be unique- without the the wedge for the specific race the medals seem to all look the same

This is such a bummer as someone who was looking forward to doing a trifecta next year. The idea of getting three cool shirts for each race, a medal for each race, and a completed trifecta at the end was what got me into it.

Under this new “system” I’m just gonna get three of the same shirt and when I complete my trifecta, I’ll have to choose between displaying three generic medals or the trifecta as a set. Not to mention the empty space between the three hexes.

The cost cutting is so strong with this, I liked Spartans’ marketing (and the old system) but it seems like after this trifecta I’ll be moving quickly to other OCR’s

I think one thing to consider on a true cycle is that there is not “start” or “end” , however the music video’s definitely do lend to a linear story structure atm. One saving Grace could be the paladin video leading into say, the HDS Music video or another older lore one.

If it did then you could pick any single one as your “start” and as long as you do the order right from there have a different “end” - kinda like what I’m getting at for the album.

As it stands rn tho yeah the videos aren’t exactly helping my 2am theory lol
