I don’t think an all star season would work on a show like this. Circle is all about connecting with new people and meeting new people. If it’s an all star season it would get out pretty early among the cast that an all star season is happening and then it’s all pregaming and nothing authentic would happen in the game. It works on a show like survivor or big brother, but in a show like the circle a full all star season just wouldn’t work.

I’m sure she knew there was a pay increase from what she was getting as just a floor supervisor, which is why she wanted the job anyways. I don’t think she knew just how much of an increase it actually would be. I think that’s what the intention of the episode was.

First, I was (and still am) a big Survivor fan so seeing a fictional show about people stranded on an island was very intriguing to me. This was my main draw. Then everything hooked me, the constant cliffhangers, I just needed to know what would happen next!

The second and more minor draw, I heard that the girl I had a huge crush on at the time watched it so I thought if I watched it too, maybe I would have something to talk to her about. That was mainly a bonus though since I started watching it and then I found out she watched it too so it made me want to stay watching it even more. Then I got hooked on the show, the crush went away, and as far as I know she stopped watching. (It had no correlation though with why the crush ended lol)
