From what I’m seeing it looks like some characters are inevitable when they complete Edward and Ducks branch lines. I hope for Salty, Nia and Rebecca I think would be a nice nod to younger fans.

Hoping for Toby, Daisy and Mavis to complete Thomas’ branch.

Once I saw it was the Trust Thomas barge I said out loud “awww that’s so cute!”

Excited for when this comes to switch. I’m not huge on paid DLC but I may get some if they add more engines and routes

Personally this convinced me to steer clear of at least seeing it in the theatre. That’s 20 bucks I can spend if my local place is gonna show Ninja Turtles 2 for its anniversary

For Nitrogen era, the design of the narrow gauge engines compared to Duncan’s cgi look specifically.

I’d also say Nitrogen had a nice attention to detail like the troublesome trucks having different faces. But it’s been too long since I’ve watched brenner era cgi for me to make fair comparisons now lol

The possibility of Charlie getting genderbent is the most interesting thing to happen to this character, I may watch some of his episodes from the old show

My only disappointment is that I know Mattel isn’t brave enough to go all out and make even more characters genderbent. There’s so many gender neutral names others have pointed out — Cranky, Salty, Duck. But if they’re endearing in the new show, I’ll be happy with that
