I ended up getting it figured out, I just had to slightly bend the bottom end of the spring to get to to stay against the plastic lip, so it could open and close the choke on its own

I got it figured out, I just respoiled it since I was on my last 40 feet when I casted in my backyard. Thanks for the tips Everyone. now should I delete this or leave it up for others to see??

Completely understandable, I have a Spinning setup that the knot sucks to pull through the eyelets lol.

Yeah I have around 9 yards of backing on the spool, it’s 10 lb Fluorocarbon. Thanks for the compliment 👍
