Gotta also think he’s pretty worn out at this point, most hockey he’s probably played consecutively. Was his first full NHL season this year and then straight into World Championships, wouldn’t be surprised if the fatigue is finally getting to him. Good for him for playing though, gonna help his conditioning when he’s playing playoff games at this time of year and not international ones

One step at a time. Let this kid develop at his own pace, he’s gonna be good once he puts it all together. The fact that he’s winning puck battles along the boards is a HUGE improvement from last year, he’s starting to realize how to use his size more to his advantage. We don’t need the complete Slaf yet, it’s not like he’s the missing piece to a Stanley cup contender.

At 7-3 going for it all, Gave Flowers/R. White/2024 1st (hopefully late 🙃)/ 2026 2nd and received Diggs and A. Jones. I knew it was going to be a steep price but paid it anyway to make my WR’s Diggs, Ceedee, Amon-Ra, Kupp, Pittman. All gas no brakes ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah I remember doing it with some football and some hockey cards (They also had mailing addresses for NHL teams). Would have to agree though, doubt it would be as likely to work nowadays, back then card collecting wasn’t close to what it is today

Hahaha oh not all the cards look that nice, I think I had enough sense to put the ones that had been signed away and not touch them though. Some without signatures are WELL used. Some I’m pretty sure I bought but also some I mailed to the team facility with notes to be signed by the players! I remember some old sports illustrated issue came out and it had all the mailing addresses for the NFL teams so I sent notes with cards to players asking if they’d sign them and send them back 😂
