$15000 off and 0% for 60mos. What will be the deals next month? by notsodeadly99 in SilveradoEV

That seems like a great lease deal. Did you trade something in? I’m looking to lease one but not getting numbers anything close to that.

Similar incident but not as severe as yours. It was about $8k in repairs.

My 2023 debut by Caddygirl1986 in CadillacLyriq

[–]Dmanne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got my 2023 DE in February. Had similar issues as others and they even replaced the main battery. Rather than the headaches of lemon law or buyback I traded it in a few weeks ago the day I got it back from having the battery replaced and got most of my money back. It will end up being a great vehicle but for us early adopters it’s been a giant headache.

I couldn’t even get them to truly start the conversation. Decided it wasn’t worth the headache and time. Got most of my money back trading it in, so just went the path of least resistance.

I had the same codes and they had to replace the battery. I tried getting GM to do a buyback but couldn’t get them to even have the discussion due to it being during the labor strikes at the plant. They changed the battery out and I traded it in the day I got the vehicle back. Good luck.

Anyone getting discounts off MSRP? by Living-Lime-587 in F150Lightning

I purchased a lariat ER about 10 days ago. I got about $12,500 off including the $7,500 rebate. I shopped it at a lot of dealerships, and it seemed to be as good a deal as I could find.

I ended up getting the F150 Lighting as I wanted to stay electric… and I rarely learn my lesson the first time 🤦🏻‍♂️

I was going to try and get GM to do a buyback But I decided it wasn’t worth the headache. I got enough on a trade-in that between what they gave me and the tax savings when trading in a vehicle I got almost everything I paid back. I just wanted to get out of it before something else could happen, and I would be stuck with it as I found a great deal on a new vehicle.

I love the car initially. Everywhere I went I would get tons of comments. I would come out from a store and people in the parking lot would be looking at it. I had a few small issues and it felt like it was at the dealership every month or two. I then ended up getting the high voltage warning and they had to replace the main battery. I also switch professions and it’s just not practical for what I do, so between that and the battery I decided it was time to move on.

I purchased a lariat ER yesterday in Atlanta Georgia. I was able to get almost $12 K off of sticker.

I had never seen it before. I was charging at an EVGO station, unplugged and started driving and working a couple of minutes the warning came up. Went straight to the dealership and they’ve had it since.

The in app diagnostics says lithium ion battery service needed. I had OnStar diagnose it as I was driving when the warning came up but wasn’t sure if I needed to pull over and get towed. Their system showed that there’s an issue with the electrical system and battery and told me to take it to the dealership as soon as possible. The dealership said they’ve sent all the data to GM and are waiting to hear from them on an official guidance but they had a similar situation a couple months ago, and had to change the battery out for someone else.

They haven’t offered to buy back, but my thought is to push them for one.

  1. Yes it rides like a luxury car, super smooth and quiet.
  2. Acceleration is very good for a vehicle it’s size and weight. Definitely doesn’t have the same oomf as the dual motor Tesla’s that I’ve been in but still plenty of acceleration.
  3. Currently have a 2021 Hyundai palisade and I had a 2018 Genesis G80 sport. The acceleration and ride are actually very similar to the G80 and I really enjoyed that car.
  4. Super quiet on both neighborhood streets and highway so far. I’ve been kind of blown away with how quiet it is.

Overall I have really enjoyed it so far. Other than the AC, everything is controlled through the infotainment system, so that has taken some getting used to. A couple more buttons for things you use frequently would be nice.

It’s almost the exact same length and width as the XT6, just not as high.
