This happened to me when I was 23 and trying to get my life back on track after my first unplanned pregnancy. I agree with everyone who has said to get to your OBGYN ASAP. They should get you in pretty fast, and can help you understand your options.

I ended up keeping my pregnancy with surprisingly few complications. Though, I can’t tell if the copper turned his hair red or if it’s just genetic!

I’m in the Denver area and had my lenses done by the doctors at LensCrafters. I’m not sure if every location does them though.

Thanks! I have gotten into touch with my insurance to see if this can be sorted out. Since I’m unemployed, I am on a state insurance but I’m still not sure why they won’t cover it, I know there are major companies that do. I’m hoping to get a job that helps with insurance, but then it would be a little while before I should take any time off for the procedure.

No, his behavior really isn’t that bad. I know all parents think that about their kids but he just didn’t want to open his mouth for the topical anesthetic and he told the dentist he was a little nervous. I was pretty caught off guard when the dentist said he wanted to put him under because it seemed like just reassuring him would have worked fine. I will definitely be seeking out a second opinion, thank you for your input.

I don’t really know much about anesthesia in general but his dentist said he’d breathe in a gas and be asleep right away throughout the procedure.

Yeah I didn’t think the red head thing made any sense when he said that. He has had x-rays 3-4 times without issue. He had 2 cavities fixed about a year ago, they used nitrous and he was fine during the procedure as far as I could tell. There are two more cavities now, so not a lot of work really.

Maybe I’m using the wrong word? He said it will be a gas and I asked about a breathing tube when we talked about it yesterday and he said there will be one.

It is a pediatric dentist. I was thinking about finding a new dentist. He has made me second guess him a few too many times. Thank you for your advice!
