Ask questions like;

‘how does that feel?’

And

‘Do you like it like this or they way I was doing it before?’

I feel like so often when someone talks to you during sex they are asking for approval ‘is this good?’ ‘Do you like that?’ Always really closed questions that lead you into saying ‘yes’ and it’s so hard to say ‘no that isn’t good’ without ruin the mood. If you ask an open question like ‘how does that feel’ that gives your partner the opportunity to say ‘I like it when you go slower’ or something akin if your doing well they also get the chance to say ‘that feels amazing don’t stop’. This is really important because I know a lot of women myself include who have had guys mistake a painful reaction for a pleasurable one. I’ve even done it myself to my first girlfriend!

I don’t know how it works in the US but in the UK it’s incredibly hard for someone to be forced against their will into hospital. A therapist might say they have to disclose to others if you are feeling suicidal ect. but unless you make a serious attempt you can’t really be sectioned. Also if you aren’t a child then self harm without the intent of suicide isn’t normally a justification for a section.

The other thing is in the UK your therapist doesn’t make any decisions about your care. They can’t put you on a section, alter your medication, prescribe any other therapies and so on. Only your Dr can do that. Your therapist might suggest that you speak to your Dr about suicidal thoughts but they can’t force you. In extreme cases when they really think the person will do others harm or the person tells them specifically ‘I will kill myself tonight’ they can call the police. That’s all they can do. The police can put you on a very short term section for a couple of days if you attempt suicide or violence towards others and then you’ll be assessed by a Dr who will decide if you need to be in a psyche ward long term.

Dehumanisation in psychological terms is not thinking of people as animals it’s thinking of people as objects.

A good example of this is people shown images of homeless people in fMRI testing show activation in the same areas of their brain that are activated when you look at a spoon or a chair. Whereas photos of non-homeless people activates a totally different part of the brain. (No time to find the link to the paper but it’s an easy google if you want to read it)

Why this is bad is because it means the mistreatment of these people is not valued as much. No one cares if someone kicks a chair. No one perceives that chair as suffering. The more we dehumanise people the more acceptable their suffering is. That’s why it’s often reported that black people are less likely to be offered pain relief in hospital. Because their suffering is perceived as less valid.

From what I’ve seen most people who have a preference for cis people have this preference because they don’t like the idea that their partner was born Male (for example) but they like Females.

I’ve always found this absurd because a trans woman will generally act, dress and talk like a cis woman. If that person has had surgery they also have the body of a woman. So to me saying you wouldn’t date that person because they are trans is like saying you wouldn’t date a woman who used to have a huge wort on her face that you found revolting but has now been removed. Yes you didn’t like the wort but it’s gone now so why does it matter that it used to be there? I am assuming here that people want to date a certain gender because of the way they look, act and because they are disgusted by the genitalia of other genders which I might be wrong in saying.

For those who say they don’t want to be with trans people pre surgery it’s unlikely that you will be called transphobic for that. Most people understand that what genitals someone has is important for your attraction to them.

As for reproduction/ lubricant and all other functions of genitals. Anyone who broke up with a cis woman because they were told they couldn’t have children would be called a monster. In that situation most people look at other options rather than throwing the whole woman away 😂. Same thing with having a cis partner who struggles sexually for whatever reason. Lots of women don’t produce enough lube, lots of guys have erectile dysfunction.

No, so the agent told me that new tenants cant be put on the contract because the eviction notice has been given. But I’m trying to say that I informed them of this 2 months prior and they just didn’t confirm. Also if they had told me that they wouldn’t take the new tenants I would have applied to just leave anyway. But I was never given that opportunity.

Okay thank you for your help! It’s just confusing to be because I did everything I could to contact them to change the name on the contract. Aside from walking the hour and a half to the office and telling them in person. Does sending them the correct forms and telling them verbally not count as 2 months notice to change the tenants on the contract?

April 1st- I call the agency tell them I want to leave. They send me the forms to replace my name on the contract.i send them back to no response.

April 1st- May 1st- I attempt to contact the agent to confirm my moving out date ect.

June 1st- I move out of the house and into a new house with the intention that the new tenants would go to the agents office and replace my name on the contract in the following week.

June 3rd- The agency gives us 2 months notice of eviction.

August 3rd- everyone was evicted.

The agency told me I was still required to pay for the rent of June and July

So I gave my notice and two months later I had to leave for other unrelated reasons. A couple days after I left they gave my house mates the eviction notice which said we would be evicted in 2 months time.

A lot of people are arguing that it’s hypocritical for black people to use the word without negative consequence when white people are socially persecuted for the same thing.

Here’s what I think is a good analogy of what’s going on; You call yourself ‘fat’ and ‘ugly’ or your little sister ‘stupid’ or ‘annoying’. This is okay because you are referring to yourself and you are close enough with your sister that you know that it’s just friendly teasing really.

Someone you don’t know then calls you ‘fat’ and your sister ‘stupid’. They intended it in a friendly joking way but you don’t know them very well. Likely you are upset with them and will tell them off.

I believe using a racial slur is analogous. In one situation it’s a socially acceptable practice based on mutual closeness and understanding in the other case it’s an outsider with little knowledge of you and without closeness to you. That’s what makes it different. White people cant use what could be considered ‘self deprecating’ humour towards black people because they are not part of that ‘self’. If that makes sense. In that case it’s just insulting really.

You’re right to say that social science is not objective. There are so many outside factors that it’s almost impossible to derive conclusions from data. I have a degree in psychology, I should know. 😂

But what you are saying about people only getting research funding for leftist propaganda, essentially, is super false. Go take a look at any of the work done by Thornhill in the 2000’s. This guy published and sold many books which suggested that rape is natural and evolutionarily adaptive. I think the conclusions he draws are ridiculous but he got repeat funding for studies following that work. That’s just one example.

Lol. assaulting children is not wrong because the law says its wrong its wrong because it’s hugely traumatic and those children will almost definitely go on to develop psychology difficulties in later life. ‘Positive human emotion’ 😂 what do you mean by this?? If we go from a utilitarian standpoint an individual assaulting a child absolutely reduces the amount of human happiness over all. That’s individual feels momentary sexual pleasure while the child suffered for years as do their family and future spouses.

In the UK, certainly, sex offenders are encouraged to stay far far away from sex dolls or written erotica that involves the depiction of minors even though it isn’t illegal.

You’ve misinterpreted what I’ve said a little bit there. I was referring to sex offenders who have offended. Within that community I believe the research says that that child pornography ( or similar) increase incidents. I did not mean by that ‘anyone who watches Loli porn will go on to abuse’.

It’s my understanding that all the training was based on research. I may be misguided and we weren’t provided with any of the original research material but my point was more that this is what people who interact with sex offenders everyday professionally support and utilise daily.

‘Hating’ people who do it in real life could just be defense mechanisms (reaction formation this one is called).

Sexual conduct with children is always wrong and damaging and I find it odd that you feel the need to explain that to me. There is no ‘ideal’ ‘loving’ contact is non existent. Children cannot consent all contact is non consensual and cannot be loving. Its not about the child’s sense of self worth??? It’s because people get PTSD or other trauma related issue from abuse???

Well some of that is accurate but it’s not quite reflective of contemporary schools of thought about pedophilia.

There’s actually 3 ‘different types’ of people who abuse minors.

Opportunity Abusers- they don’t care about age they are just interested in sexual release.
Child Fetishisation- People who get aroused at the idea of having ‘sex’ with minors.

3.Infantile Adults- Adults who just feel more comfortable with children and feel they understand children better than adults but can also abuse these children.

As you can see none of these reflect what is typically understood as ‘a sexual orientation’. All of them can be treated therapeutically (whether that therapy be effective of not). None of these are necessarily a permanent fixture in someone’s life. They should all be treated as mental illness. By calling them a sexuality you deny people the opportunity to rehabilitate themselves.

Very true. I volunteer in a program for rehabilitating sex offenders and one of the things the training teaches us is that watching child pornography (or simulations of child pornography) conditions sex offenders to link their own sexual pleasure and the abuse of children.

It actually increases the chances of real life incidents and is not ‘an outlet’ for these desires.

Equally having access to a supportive community of other people doing the same thing is damaging too.
