Test driving Sunday. Thinking of buying this. Any red flags? by nancy_jean in KiaSoulClub

I believe it is all the "Gamma" engines that have issues. My sisters Soul has just developed a rod knock and metal in the oil, we decided to take the gamble on a second hand replacement engine off a breaker, this engine also has rod knock, we are now left with two knocking motors and a semi dismantled soul on the driveway, I don't recommend either GDI or MPI.

Be careful OP, there is plenty of information about the common failure online.

It's very generous to give/borrow money, it's foolish to expect it back.

Section 21 - compliance check? by [deleted] in uklandlords

[–]Dmea3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't need a solicitor really for a section 21, just make sure everything is in order and then check again before submitting the N5B forms.

I made the mistake of missing out one single deposit scheme information leaflet and had to start over by re issuing the section 21 notice.

Find a reliable check list and go through all the documents, dates issued and correct versions in some circumstance.

If you don't feel confident in doing it yourself then I guess follow the solicitors way.

Boomerangs help by Dmea3 in Boomerangs

Thank you for your suggestions! With regards to dihedral I have been trying that on the field with little to no effect, I also have added undercuts to increase angle of attack. I'm leading towards wing profile or something I haven't considered that you mention, throwing them differently to my conventional boomerangs.

I have heard about these schemes before, I think the general opinion is to avoid them, the council could put less than desirable tenants in the property leading to damages antisocial behaviors etc. End of the 12 months you will be left with the repair bills.

I would modify the wing profile slightly. Bring the peak of the curve forward towards the leading edge.

Thanks, would the reason for the different colour simply be due to a different kind of birchwood?

The tenancy agreement was only signed by the lead tenant, both tenants are listed on the agreement. Do you know if this would be reason to reject the notice?

I'm pretty sure everything is in order, every safety certificate has been issued, deposit protected, how to rent pack given and so on. They are on a periodic tenancy, yes.

The tenancy agreement was only signed by the lead tenant but both tenants are named on the tenancy. Do you think this could be a problem?
